Yep I've got same question. My old top loader was easy to clean filters and there'd be heaps of lint after a few washes... after few washes using my f& p front loader I check the filter and there's not much lint just the water comes out.... wondering if it's going somewhere else
I have done all those steps but it still says clear filter and the water doesn’t drain out. I have nothing in the filter. Is there anything at the back of the machine that would need a fix or need replacing if the above steps don’t work ?
I had the same problem but persisted (gently) with a flat-head screwdriver, getting it in under the grooves/thread of the barrel and carefully (but firmly) angling it outwards. Turns out there were two hair clips stuck in there, which were jamming the barrel from coming out! Hope this comment helps either you or someone else frustrated like me!
Rough as guts. Drain all the water out of the tube into a shallow tray, then unscrew the filter. Why didn't you clean the filter before you put it back in????

What happens if water just keeps coming out? Its all clear but the washing machine stopped with water but still get the error code =(
