These faucets come with a plastic gasket piece that uses compression to make a watertight seal. Makes the plumbers putty unnecessary and the job a little easier for beginner diy-ers like me🙂
Thanks so much for this! I had to confirm I was installing it correctly and your video is so to the point that I didn't have to fast forward through any unnecessary information.
The rubber grommet that seals at the bottom of the sink was still leaking..I just tightened the plastic washer to make it water tight. Just needed more force on this part
Hi, I'm new to DIY and I'm trying to install this faucet. It keeps leaking from the water lines where it connects to the sink. I've gotten them pretty tight but it still leaks a lot on both sides, any tips? Should I just keep tightening them?
From the top the metal bar that goes down to bottom it’s leaks from there, the hole where the metal bars go through is too big, check that…. Let me know
Thanks for the responses guys, I forgot I had posted this. In the end, I fixed the problem by purchasing new hoses. You're probably right that the rubber washers went missing or had gotten warped.
Hi I just watched your video on how to install this. For some reason the drain controls keeps disconnecting from the line to pull it out how do I go about fixing this issue?
you're so lucky to have such a helpful daughter
Thanks so much,
That’s my great helper granddaughter .
Thanks
Why no silicone sealant on
the gasket under the faucet?

@@ebonyjackson3198 it looked like he used plumber's putty under the rubber washer, though it didn't show him doing it.
