- I thought I'd do this to get involved in the alternate universe if The Weinstein Company did not handle the American version and was handled by a different film studio.

In my alternate universe, Turner Broadcasting System acquired the US television syndication rights to the franchise in 1985 and on 25 February 2005, the film was released by New Line Cinema.
I like this, TP! I honestly wish this is what we'd gotten.
From the studio that brought you Planet 51
In all honesty way better than the US version that we got by the Weinstein Company
It's actually great you know now that I think of it I kind of wish TriStar pictures would have handled the Us distribution of the movie instead of the Weinstein Company it would have been way better and would have been more well received in the US now can you please do an alternate universe opening to The Magic roundabout Sony pictures TriStar US DVD? It actually might be a great concept
Sadly, that kids today now like SMG4 and other modern internet cartoons other than this magical franchise.
I truly agree.
What if it was released by Universal Pictures

And The Cast Would Be... & The Screenplay By...
This would be much better.

That's why the americans if they see the original franchise might remind of the all hated US dub.
Paramount dreamworks and Nickelodeon movies
