My thoughts: while arcade seems like the better deal for what you get (Honestly both skins are a horrible deal and overpriced) Spectrum takes the cake simply for how clean the design and SFX are. While the arcade seem like the coolest latest and greatest thing more doesn't always equal better, imo it suffers from having too much going on and being distracting. It's more like a skin you use every once in a while like the elder flame vandal, compared to a skin like Spectrum that you never want to take off cause of how satisfying it is to play with.

Im actually enjoying the res phantom. Moving parts and crazy animation never distract me. Its just a gun anyway and im thinking of it as the same as other skins while shooting. I've been poppin head with it, its sound satisfying.
i got the purple phantom and genuinely, the SFX for shooting are about as satisfying as Spectrum, if not more, pull-out makes music when you spam it, inspect is better but nothing beats the spectrum finisher. matter of taste and both have their place

Honestly, it depends on what you are looking for: If you want a more clean looking gun I would say go for the spectrum phantom, since the look and the music are cleaner than the more complex Arcade Phantom on the contrary, if you want a more extravagant gun I would say go for the arcade phantom since it has a lot more to offer than the simplicity of the spectrum phantom TLDR: spectrum is cleaner while the arcade is more extravagant
Arcade has 3 finishers but I think 3 of them still can’t beat the solid spectrum finisher and phew phew sound effects but Recon and Oni are still the best phantom skins imo and Recon gives me aimbot

I love the spectrum phantom but there are some issues I have with it: I heard that when inspecting the spectrum phantom, enemy team can hear the music as well, so in a sense its kinda pay-to-lose if thats true. Enemies may see the tracers of spectrum phantom better bcus on the coloured tracers. Also only recently did they fix the muzzle being longer on the spectrum than other phantoms (so enemies can see you faster when you push smokes, etc. Many pros actually used to avoid using it because of that fact too.
1. No one else besides you will hear the music when inspecting the gun. 2. The phantom doesn’t have bullet tracers regardless of the skin you have equipped. 3. Might be true, not sure, but I’ve always find the shape of this gun a bit weird. It’s a bit too rectangular for my taste.

I have the radiant entertainment system Phantom and op. And i just love it. I don't like spectrum phantom cause of its shooting sound its kind of disturbing, but i have it's classic. Love the classic, it hits head well.
First thing you look at is the weapon model. That area, spectrum's better so a lot of people will go with that. Arcade weapon model has neat touches but the general design of the model is not that good for 2975vp. It straight up looks like a battlepass phantom.
Recon & Oni still the best aimbot phantom. Cuz with default sound its Mote clean. IMO the effect phantom skins for me only Prime, Protocol, Singularity, & RGX
the price is hella expensive even though the skin is great, even tho it is objectively better than spectrum (more vfx,sounds,banners,finishers etc) i think it should be the same price since the spectrum was a collab, which is the main reason it was so expensive

Please refrain reading if not a nerd.* _This is also a personal viewpoint._ Best theme : RES Best in-game value : Spectrum by far (RES variants took far more work, but can't be changed in-game). Best 6k sound : Only Spectrum has it Best design : Spectrum Best finisher : Spectrum Best pullout : RES Best inspect : Both Best knife : Only RES has it Best small gimmicks : RES Riot probably put high hopes in RES, considering the average spending playerbase likely has experience with old video games as kids, which definitely plays a lot with nostalgia. Theme-wise, it was definitely a lot smarter than Spectrum, which barely anyone knows where it comes from. However, RES doesn't come as close as Spectrum for "looking like a real legendary skin". There's no skin that's even close to Spectrum's style, and it also has unique 6k effect. RES skin looks like a flat piece of plastic with a basic animation, and plenty of cool gimmicks stuck over it... Sadly, these gimmicks are kinda random and uncoherent : Excepted knife, buttons' only purpose is ASMR, the screen is only influenced by shooting and the animations in the holes don't seem to serve any other purpose than displaying the power state. Even though all these details look good, it's too obvious they were mostly taped on the guns with the only purpose of filling the space. On the other hand, The whole spectrum definitely feels like a one-piece gun. It's more simple, but every detail of it is in harmony with the overall object. I'm not that attached to RES finishers neither, it's basically a nostalgia-packed protocol, and even there I prefer Prot. Spectrum has less of a personnality, but at least looks huge and is already a classic. (Yes, Spectrum is also a big chunk of white, but most of its on-screen part is shattered with the light cracks, which keeps it interesting) RES variants also feel like the same crap as battlepass : They sell that with the argument that there are plenty of gimmicks to choose among, but since it can't be changed in-game, one can technically only play with 33% of their actual purchase at a time. Spectrum variants were simple, but at least, it was not much of a loss to not play with all of them.
I have both. Red Spectrum was my Main Phantom for like a Year. Because I love the RES Phantom and all of its variants... I random favorite all three and as well the Red Spectrum so it will be different and non-repetitive

I have RGX and Chronovoid, but to me both are fantastic. if you are short on VP get the RGX first, it has cleaner looks and the sounds so soft to shoot. however the chronovoid beats the RGX with awesome variants, finisher and VFX[reload + inspect]
I love both so much. I always go Back to my rgx phantom though it’s so clean. Chronovoid is also very nice!! It honestly really depends on my mood both are good.

Arcade phantom is a scam. You spend 2900vp then you have to buy the variant as the blue base has a sound upgrade but is almost a default phantom sound. So, spend extra 15 Radianite plz
Guys let’s be real.. radinite entertainment phantom is the best phantom skins out there. The finisher itself is so perfect & the firing sound effects are so unique!! Spectrum phantom is overused tbh and spectrum classic is way better than the phantom. If you’re considering which to get I say go for RES :) it’s only 300 vp difference and you get THREE skins in ONE. It’s perfectly priced.

I have the radiant entertainment system Phantom and op. And i just love it. I don't like spectrum phantom cause of its shooting sound its kind of disturbing, but i have it's classic. Love the classic, it hits head well.

First thing you look at is the weapon model. That area, spectrum's better so a lot of people will go with that. Arcade weapon model has neat touches but the general design of the model is not that good for 2975vp. It straight up looks like a battlepass phantom.
Battlepass phantom looks better imo than the arcade one, could have been a great bundle with finishers n stuff

Riot probably put high hopes in RES, considering the average spending playerbase likely has experience with old video games as kids, which definitely plays a lot with nostalgia.
Theme-wise, it was definitely a lot smarter than Spectrum, which barely anyone knows where it comes from.
However, RES doesn't come as close as Spectrum for "looking like a real legendary skin". There's no skin that's even close to Spectrum's style, and it also has unique 6k effect.
RES skin looks like a flat piece of plastic with a basic animation, and plenty of cool gimmicks stuck over it... Sadly, these gimmicks are kinda random and uncoherent : Excepted knife, buttons' only purpose is ASMR, the screen is only influenced by shooting and the animations in the holes don't seem to serve any other purpose than displaying the power state. Even though all these details look good, it's too obvious they were mostly taped on the guns with the only purpose of filling the space.
On the other hand, The whole spectrum definitely feels like a one-piece gun. It's more simple, but every detail of it is in harmony with the overall object.
I'm not that attached to RES finishers neither, it's basically a nostalgia-packed protocol, and even there I prefer Prot. Spectrum has less of a personnality, but at least looks huge and is already a classic.
(Yes, Spectrum is also a big chunk of white, but most of its on-screen part is shattered with the light cracks, which keeps it interesting)
RES variants also feel like the same crap as battlepass : They sell that with the argument that there are plenty of gimmicks to choose among, but since it can't be changed in-game, one can technically only play with 33% of their actual purchase at a time.
Spectrum variants were simple, but at least, it was not much of a loss to not play with all of them.

I have both. Red Spectrum was my Main Phantom for like a Year. Because I love the RES Phantom and all of its variants... I random favorite all three and as well the Red Spectrum so it will be different and non-repetitive

if you are short on VP get the RGX first, it has cleaner looks and the sounds so soft to shoot.

The arcade skins are trash imo, they prolly would feel good but the design of it is pretty bad. 11900 vp for 1 bundle, like who tf thinks that was a good idea and im not even mentioning the amount of radianite used to upgrade them. Spectrum is cleaner, cooler and i love the music and 6k sounds, the sounds of the arcade phantom is really cool and i think the idea is amazing. Riot please dont make the skin look like this.
Arcade phantom is a scam. You spend 2900vp then you have to buy the variant as the blue base has a sound upgrade but is almost a default phantom sound. So, spend extra 15 Radianite plz

Guys let’s be real.. radinite entertainment phantom is the best phantom skins out there. The finisher itself is so perfect & the firing sound effects are so unique!! Spectrum phantom is overused tbh and spectrum classic is way better than the phantom. If you’re considering which to get I say go for RES :) it’s only 300 vp difference and you get THREE skins in ONE. It’s perfectly priced.
