Are you a new senior? We're talking about active, vibrant people age 60 and plus who see 60 as the beginning--NOT the end! Senior discounts are a great way for new senior citizens to save big. And there are plenty of discounts for senior citizens starting at age 55.
Now some people don't want to take the discount. We've heard all the reasons--we've used 'em ourselves! "We're not that old yet" or "Those are for old people" are two of the best!

Ha. I am so confused. The link shows me that AARP is good to have, but I always heard AAA was the way to go?

The only reason why I'm hesitant to take the senior discount is because I keep forgetting that I'm old.
"Lifetime" sounds good until you realize the average life expectancy, ha. Isn't it 70something these days? So might wanna take it year by year unless you spend a lot of time at those parks. Also, AARP doesn't seem worthy. It seems to want lots of fees for this and that. Um, to get discounts.
An obviouse reason that wasn't mentioned is that a lot of seniours take great pains to look and feel younger than there chronalogical age and might see it as a personal afront to be aproached with " the discount ," . This could go for the fifties group and woman inparticular . It might make there day to get carded but they arent so pragmatic to think that " taking :the dam discount," would be a remotely fair trade off to there vanity and sense of self .
Great point!! I know it makes MY day when I get carded. Granted, in most instances clerks are carding anyone who looks 40 and under, but hell - looking like 40 at 60 - I’ll take it! 😆
