Superb discussion. Very enjoyable to watch and reminds me that i need the expertise of top level coaches like these guys to correct my appalling shooting.
Fascinating chat , I’m a beginner to clay pigeon shooting and have already learnt not to worry about what other people think, you must master yourself before you master a sport ! Last time I went shooting I scored 22 out of 50 , a fellow shooter got 33 out of 50 and said he had a bad day , he turned to me and said I hadn’t done very well , I said actually I’ve had the most enjoyable day , he looked at me strangely , little did he know I only got 16 out of 50 the last time I went ! Who had the best I wonder !! Positive attitude all the way. Simon is a legend to listen to.
Thank you Louca...which Simon..!!!!!?!! Jokes aside, thank you for your comment and yes indeed, a sound inner self projects strength outwardly. Keep practicing and always enjoy!! Very best wishes, Simon 🙏🙏🙏
@@hownhallshooting both Simons of course ! Thank you for taking the time to do the basic lessons , they are so valuable to us beginners as most videos can be too advanced. Getting the basics right is important fundamentals. I would love to see a show teaching how to shoot with a side by side , as this is my end goal , going shooting in a classic car shorting an English classic shotgun ! Thank you once again
Hello Simon, hope all is well! FINALLY got round to watching this podcast, fantastic mate I find Simon R fascinating, I could listen to him all day. Took some good points from this that I will certainly take into the field. Keep up the good work, look forwards to the next instalment. I must get down to Hownhall for a shot.
Fascinating. Simon mentioned wildfowlers on the Wash, I would respectfully suggest that fowlets from any part of our coastline who reload are streets ahead on the understanding curve of steel shot and the game shooting community would do well to absorb some of their advice.
Interesting video Simon, just goes to show that human mindset and performance is much more difficult to analyse and rectify than the actual dynamics and physics behind shooting targets. Clearly, both are important to achieving personal goals. See you down the POW soon. Stuart.

Great discussion, gentlemen. Thoroughly enjoyed hearing about all things shooting and the dissection of the sportsman’s mindset.
