I remember when my dad came home with one of these discs, I was 5 years old at most. I remember playing this for hours. It is strange how I'm still able to recognize some of the scenes and sounds 15 years later.
Same, I remember the scenery and the music very well even 18 years later... Crazy how much stuff like this can have an effect on you. This level, the "inside the fairy council" and the one where you fly a ship with Globox controlling a canon are basically imprinted in my mind lol.
I remember this demo! I think it came with Rayman Revolution if memory serves, and I desperately wanted Rayman 3! The first level has been stuck in my head for a long time.
It awesome you actually recorded the PS2 BETA Demo on an actual PS2 with nice quality! I own the actual demo disc itself that came as a bonus with Rayman Revolution! 8-)
yeah, the demo is sick :D I don't own the demo, just a copy of it, but I really want to buy it one day ^^... I love the differences of the demo :O...the voices are kinda weird (maybe because we all know the voices from Ray3 about 13 years now :B), but the sounds and the music are awesome in my opinion! o_o the song from the intro-video is awesome, and I don't know why the developers changed it into this song that is blocked in some countries (for example in Germany)...and I love the soundtrack @ 5:30 :DD I wish this one would have made it into the final game^^
COOLPRO195 could you tell me what other games are on there, please. I used to own it and i forgot. I remember there being one game, it was like guitarhero, and there was also the silent hill 3 trailer, no demo gameplay for it.
I had one as well, got one from a cereal box back in 2003-ish, but the disc must've been thrown in the trash not too long after that, so it's long gone.
I got this kind of demo on the original ps2 magazin. But it dont had the trailer on it and booth levels have a time limit. The demo will end if you reach the time limit or finish the choosen level. The sounds/music/textures/loading screens are different too, if I compare it with your demo. And they speak in german and had the same voices like the retail version.
Yeah, there are like 3 or 4 different versions of this demo on PC, each with different levels from the final game :P I downloaded a few of them, but I've always wanted to try the PS2 version as well.
if you've a modified PS2 you could play a selfmade copy of the demo ^^... I know the rom is downloadable because my technical assistant has it on his PS2's hard drive :)
Sadly enough my PS2 isn't modded and it seems overly complicated to do so (basically I got to buy a specific game or get a modded memory card). I'll just wait till I decide to buy a physical copy or something which I actually prefer :)

Same here, cant recognize sounds, but scenery and gameplay, just like how it was back in the day
"Holy sheet" Ubisoft please.
I have so many memories of this demo it's ridiculous, I remember getting it in a cereal box around 2002-2003.

"Holy Sheet" I guess they couldn't keep THAT in...
Nice main title song
1:55 R2 Style Rayman
"Ow! My nose!"
But you don't--
Please, can you lay out that demo disc in some sort of file sharing and give a link?
Demo disc only with Rayman 2 Revolution on PS2
i didnt know something like this existed :)
From The Creators of Prince of Persia and Cosmic Family ❤️
How rare is this demo disc and is this NTSC or PAL?
I had one
I had one as well, got one from a cereal box back in 2003-ish, but the disc must've been thrown in the trash not too long after that, so it's long gone.
Anybody else prefer Rayman's voice here?
Rayman's voice or Globox' voice? :D... at which time of the video? :)
Evelyn Chickentalk Rayman's voice, in general.
I wish i still had this demo disk
Me too, i wish i had my old ps2 with all my games
Woooooow

Thank god they took rid of the old grandpa voice of Globox.
I kinda like his accent in this version xD..
It doesn't make sense with his character.
I know, but I like his accent :DD... sure it would have fit more on/for other characters xD but his accent ! °o°...
so much differences
indeed :) mainly the soundeffects.. and I think even the voices are changed in the final version
Underrated PS2 game best version of Rayman 3 like Rayman 2 Revolution on PS2 and Rayman 1995 on PS1

I can recommend to look on ebay :P... there are lots of the demo discs on ebay.fr at the moment
Evelyn do you get that rayman 3 demo with rayman revolution bonus with the game
it's not the original copy of the game, but it must be the version that came with Rayman Revolution :)
Evelyn Did I tell you you can get rayman 3 hd on Xbox one and have you heard about rayman uno dlc
14:23
Hey Evelyn, do you have this game on a disc or is it an ISO file that you have emulated on your PC?
I have an ISO on my PS2 hard drive :P...
Ok nice, i would myself like to try this version
What game is this demo on?
The old Rayman 2 design didn't feel fit for the game, so I'm glad they changed that
