- A new Rayman 3 - Hoodlum Havoc prototype was just recently uploaded by the Hidden Palace team, as part of Project Deluge, which they released over 700+ PS2 prototypes to the public.
This is the earliest prototype build of Rayman 3 to be released so far, so as you can imagine, there are a TON of differences!

This is absolutely incredible, feels like a dream to see early prototypes like this and I always wanted to see even earlier builds! What a discovery! There are so many differences that I notice that it’s hard to list them XD. One thing I hope is that the textures and music tracks will be ripped for the RPC and RayTunes! Cheers ICUP for showing this!
Actually some other prototypes had more extra music as Droolie said. But some of that music is in much better quality IMHO.

Music will be later. Indeed, it contains music in various sample rate.
I kinda think that in this very build, They maybe planning Rayman 3 was going to be set in a darker tone like Rayman 2, but a lot of changes were made, and they made it a lot cooler than I thought.

Yes, but they also are in the final version of Rayman 3, when you're in Black Lumsa and you have to shoot on targets showing Rayman and Globox to open a door. When you shoot on Globox targets, it makes those noises
Love this game as kid played the demo disc with Rayman 2 Revolution on the PS2
I gonna come out and say Globox's voice in these prototypes sound a lot less ear aching than what we got.

lol plenty of Skywalker Sound SFX were widely available in royalty free audio libraries, one of the gun sounds in Rayman 2 is even Han Solo's pistol

Two sounds derive from Max Payne (siren and power tin picking sound).
I think they were probably both from the same sound libraries. Both Sound Ideas' General 6000 and Hollywood Edge's Premiere Edition were very popular back then (they were used in Rayman 2 quite a lot too)
