    At the end propEA works well but if you do it with ftmo you know what will happen and if you do it with iff, they have consistency rule that won’t work…so at the very end with which prop firm you’ll do?

    I'm using PropEA now. I do like the automation part of it and the managing of your two trades in different accounts. I do wonder though, since I do know the math for hedge strategy, if I'm not better off doing this on my own manually. Plus, I can do more challenges simultaneously and profit from their sheer failure--lol--go figure. The funny thing is the prop firms probably don't care one bit about propEA in the challenge part---they want you to lose and it makes them money. But the irony is--it also makes me money. I've never been so excited about losing in my life!

    • @stevensamoy9584

    be careful doing this on prop firms, in a funded account they might flag this as gambling and deny a payout, meaning if you win on funded then the payout is denied, then you have to swallow the max loss on ur live account. stay safe from prop firms guys, try to make it look like ur managing risk and you will be fine,

    • @tradingrules2228

      No that's wrong. You'll have a real account with different broker ie FX View. There is no way in Propfirm that they will find out that you are trading hedging with some other broker, unless you tell them yourselves.

    Thank you for your answer. Now if I unclick the Allow Live Trading button is that the same as removing the EA? Because I have a few of them and I would hate to reinstall them all later.

    • @PetkoAleksandrov
      @PetkoAleksandrov  3 месяца назад

      No, unclicking the "Allow Live Trading" button in MetaTrader is not the same as removing the EA (Expert Advisor).
      When you unclick the "Allow Live Trading" button, it simply disables the ability of the EA to execute trades on your live trading account. However, the EA itself remains attached to the chart and continues to run, monitoring market conditions and potentially providing signals or performing other functions as programmed.
      If you want to completely remove the EA from your chart, you would need to remove it manually by right-clicking on the chart, selecting "Expert Advisors" and then choosing "Remove" for the specific EA you want to remove. Alternatively, you can close the chart entirely or shut down MetaTrader altogether.

    Simultaneously opening positions in opposite directions on different accounts is prohibited by most of the prop firms like True Forex funds, Infinity. opening a long position on one account and a short position on another account at the same instrument, price, and time is not permitted.

    When using software to replicate trades from one account to another, is there a possibility that the software provider could detect this activity by accessing your accounts?
    Regarding your second point, if you're participating in two phases with different profit targets (10% and 5%), you're correct in noting that you may need to adjust your risk accordingly. If you risk the same amount in your real account as the cost of the challenge in the first phase (10%), and then in the second phase (5%), you might need to double your risk to compensate for potential losses incurred in the first phase, so you can recover both the challenge cost and any losses if you fail the challenge.

      All Prop Firms use the Ponzi fraud. You may even profit, but surely one day you will lose your account and your money like all other Ponzis. It is crucial to be aware of the risks associated with participating in prop firm challenges and similar programs. Many of these companies have strict policies and reserve the right to ban traders if they deem their activities to violate their rules, even if not explicitly stated in the terms and conditions. This may include restrictions on trading hours, the number of open trades, or even specific strategies.

      This strategy has been known for years. Most prop firms will see you flagged after passing a challenge in this way. Some will terminate you straight away, some will be waiting to gather more data and terminate you later. You will likely end being stuck with $5k lost on broker account, $1k gone for the challenge and payout rejected & permanent ban with it. @@PetkoAleksandrov
