3:34 on the video you have grid machine on M1, however default setting are for H1. Did you try the EA on M1?

Hi sh.8370 , when we test 3rd party EAs, we generally use the default settings, and adjust accordingly if needed. At times, we contact the developers to get their recommendations or ask them to send us set files for our requirements.
Are you using the original setfiles, or did you customize them.

Always test first with default settings, then adjust as needed
hi..i would like to ask why the top ea like Grid Machine and CadenceEA wont work after i installed and turn it on it on mt5 on blackbull demo account?
Hi samzedd, there could be a number of reasons for this. First, ensure you have enabled algo trading before placing the EAs onto the chart. Then, make sure your settings match the account size and leverage, so you have sufficient margin for trades to open. Lastly, run a backtest over the last few months to make sure trades would have opened. If both EAs aren't opening trades, it would make sense that there is a common problem.

How do you manage this EA during important news releases (e.g. NFP) and over the weekends?
Do you keep the EA on during news and over the weekends? or do you switch it off?|
If an EA has a news filter, I leave it to do it's thing. If not, then I turn off auto trading and close positions 1 hour before big news, and turn it back on an hour after

So I guess you do the later switch off Auto trading and close positions 1h before and turn back it on 1h later. correct?

No, there is no news filter. I generally leave the EA running over the weekends.
Have u changed Set file or just Added on to the mt5 charts without changing Set files? and i saw ur going for 1m timeframe aswell ?
We tested a number of settings, and adjusted the EA to suit our needs for Darwinex Zero

question: how do you check that an EA is not martingale/grid/HFT/hedge/arbitrage or any other forbidden thing in prop firms????
Hi Sharkbtc, if an EA opens continuous trades in the opposite direction to the trend with larger lot sizes, it's most likely a grid martingale. The best is always to open a demo account and monitor the EA. You'll see very quickly the type of strategy it employs. And reviews are usually a good place to start your research

In terms of using the same EA, Darwinex have certain Correlation settings that they look for, so you can use the same EA, but you may need to change some settings slightly. Take a look at this article that explains it in detail: www.darwinexzero.com/docs/correlation-analysis

Most EAs are designed to work on one or more assets, but rarely all. It's best to stick to the assets recommended by the developer

Hi miguelpicos9677, unfortunately I cannot share the set file, as we have set it up for uniqueness due to the rules of Darwinex. If we share the set file and others use it, we will get flagged for correlation

Does your FTMO robot only good for passing or good for trading after it too?
Hi bitteperra5930, the FTMO robot has been designed and created specifically for challenges, taking into account the rules like daily or monthly DD. However, it can be used in a funded account, and you can set it up accordingly to match your trading objectives.
what did you set the lot size parameters for the grid machine? for a $100k 1:10 leverage account?
Darwinex is 1:30 for forex trading

Hey RosesBeTrippin , For Darwinex Zero, your trading account will have the following leverage by default:
Up to 30:1 for forex pairs.
Up to 20:1 for commodities.
Up to 20:1 for indices.
5:1 for all US stocks & US ETFs.
We have left the lot sizes dynamic, because of the grid nature of the EA

I haven't had that happen to me yet. Of course, technology failure is always a risk when trading, which is why it is crucial to select a VPS with redundancy

Just today I had the problem, that all 8 MT5 instances on my VPS get offline . It looks like that there was an MT5 update. I have to restart all MT5's - so often its not a VPS problem itself
Hi Pedro I downloaded the EA but I tried to load in the chart EURUSD H1 and this does not work? the system does not allow me to attach in the chart. Thank you for your help
Hi josegregoriorodriguezmesa1257, please ensure you are using the correct EA for your platform version, and you have correctly extracted the file. If you're still having trouble, I'd try a different broker with a demo account to see if the issue lies with the broker or their platform.

Good to see Grid machine in action. Unfortunately most, if not all, Prop Firms do not allow Grid trading.
Hi eeallen2491, you are correct, however, a few prop firms, like Infinity Forex Funds, do allow any EAs on their algo/HFT challenges.
@@PetkoAleksandrov Yes, on the CHALLENGE phase only.
Grid EA's, along HFT EA's, are not allowed in the Funded stage.
So the EA can pass a challenge, but then cannot be used on a funded account.
That is an important and critical distinction.
Can we use it on prop firm live account?
Hi Sebastian-xx5fx, depending on the prop firm, yes you can. You may need to adjust settings to make it unique, and of course, start with low risk settings to protect yourself. Our results have been good so far, but don't take that as a recommendation. Any EA or settings you use are solely at your own risk.

Idk to much about ea’s. But I highly doubt any ea will be profitable over a long period of time. Trading requires a significant amount of discretion.
Hey Paid2TradeFX, it really depends on the EA and market conditions. The Waka Waka for example has been profitable every month for well over 5 years. But I agree that it's important to monitor your EAs and trade only those that are profitable in current market conditions

Can i use the Grid Machine EA for FTMO Challenge and funded Account.
You can, however, because of the daily drawdown rules, I would recommend it for a challenge. But, test it on a demo account for a while, and see if it meets your goals
