Awesome UAV people...been using one now for 3 monthes. Surveillance work. The ability to operate without a runway is absolute gold. The chute landings have all been brilliant except one (human error, poor choice to deploy in a particular area) but you have to really watch the landing site wind speed. The damage was minor and even without repair the aircraft could have flown immediately. I'm very impressed. Compared to the last system I used this is a dream come true and at one third the cost. The builders have really thought this out and delivered an amazing system. The endurance is longer than you can really use at 20 hours. Quite extraordinary. But if you really want to stay awake that long...it's there to use.I'm a happy customer.
The design concept of this video will directly affect the portable design of UAV in the next 10 years. It's hard to imagine that this video was made 12 years ago. It seems that the cradle of human civilization in recent hundreds of years must be in western countries.
Metrowhite no it cannot drop cargo, that is not what it's made for! It's made for spying and looking for specific targets. If you are looking for something to drop cargo then look elsewhere, btw if your are going to get this for cargo it would be a VERY big waste of money

It cannot take off vertically so indeed it needs a clear path of surface to take off, aka a runway

Все это конечно здорово , но вибрация от такого двигателя будет бешенная , концепция хорошая а ВМГ не для FPV .
Это серьезный безпилотник, а не для фпв. Там все что надо демпфировано, а летают они большей частью в авто режиме
