Just got two.. the mounting options are really poor.. I would like to place on a wall, but sticky tape is very amateurish.. shame that it’s let down by missing a mount point or just a couple of neater ways to mount on a wall.. unless some knows of an after market fix?
Hi, I have watched your videos both are very nice. Can you please make a video on how to setup V2+ trouble free. Which type of problems one can face and how to fix them. I already bought V2+ and couldn’t find any helpful installation video guide.
Great Video! I wish they could offer the V3+ with batteries like the Smart Thermostat. Not sure why it should be powered by a brick. Maybe V4+ will be battery powered. By the way, could we use V3+ as a thermostat and use to control the heating as well? I don't want to buy a Smart Thermostat and a Smart AC Control for every room. That's a lot of extra cost.
The answer to that is actually quite simple. The V3+ is a Wifi enabled device and those consume lot's of power. Therefore You'd need to swap batteries quite often. If your AC is cable of heating you can also trigger it with the V3+ . Otherwise you'll have to revert back to their other products.

V2 AC thermostate is compatble with V3+ bridge?
The both don’t need a bridge. Only a WiFi connection
What about using automations and geofencing through homekit? They can’t charge you on that can they?
