    Very Good question...... One answer could be there is no ignorance (-> error) in subjective nature, but if we try to find it in objective nature there will be ignorance leads to error, as swamiji explained the sun/a person is reflecting to many tubs/mirrors there is no error in sun or our existence there is error in the reflection.

    NO ONE TO BLAME
    swami vivekananda
    The sun goes down, its crimson rays
    Light up the dying day;
    A startled glance I throw behind
    And count my triumph shame;
    No one but me to blame.
    Each day my life I make or mar,
    Each deed begets its kind,
    Good good, bad bad, the tide once set
    No one can stop or stem;
    No one but me to blame.
    I am my own embodied past;
    Therein the plan was made;
    The will, the thought, to that conform,
    To that the outer frame;
    No one but me to blame.
    Love comes reflected back as love,
    Hate breeds more fierce hate,
    They mete their measures, lay on me
    Through life and death their claim;
    No one but me to blame.
    I cast off fear and vain remorse,
    I feel my Karma's sway
    I face the ghosts my deeds have raised -
    Joy, sorrow, censure, fame;
    No one but me to blame.
    Good, bad, love, hate, and pleasure, pain
    Forever linked go,
    I dream of pleasure without pain,
    It never, never came;
    No one but me to blame.
    I give up hate, I give up love,
    My thirst for life is gone;
    Eternal death is what I want,
    Nirvanam goes life's flame;
    No one is left to blame.

      In Sankara Vedanta frog is imaginary , water is imaginary , frog nature does not affect water is also imaginary. Then removing ignorance is also imaginary.
      Ultimately imaginary will never go. Who Is imagining ? You Answer. Only answer can be Brahman only by maya.
      Why should the Brahman imagine? There is no lila this is also imaginary.

      Regards K you are trying to miss interpret this thing what I mean. In pure consciousness we all are object appearing in one consciousness. Like In water frog is the object appearing. Here Water is metaphor used as or equal to brahaman and frog is equal to mind as metaphor. With the dissolution of the mind ( Nirvana) the being turns completely pure consciousness it's like there is no more any veil.

    Reflected consciousness explained - There is one consciousness and apart from nothing exist. THis only consciousness is of no attributes like forms or characters, it has not any differences in it, it does not possess any thing and it has no form.
    How does this reflection take place on this Maya. Which is of attributes and characters ?
    THus this will deemed to say that entire Brahman will be under the illusion of Maya and thus it creates of imagination of Witness and its act of witnessing the undergoing of changes on itself has Brahman assuming itself as Jeevatma.
    Eliminating knowledge of Illusion cannot be on Brahman if so then it would have liberated long ago and never undergo this assumption.
    Sankara do accept this statement in his Aiterya Upanishad bhasya introduction. Sankara Philosophy will works well if until one take everything for granted. If you ask question like
    for who this illusion appears? So is seeing the rope as snake when that seeing person is actually brahman. Then there is no answer.

    Swamiji, if Jeev is ignorant and Brahma is not ignorant.. then how can Jeev and Brahma are one and same ? This means Jeev is reflection of Brahma. Reflection can be covered with ignorance. But we can not say that Bimba and Pratibimba are one and same. Can you please explain this ?

    • @regardsk3815
      @regardsk3815 5 лет назад

      First of all Reflection concept will not work here. Brahman as per Sankara Advaita is Nirguna, Nirvisesha, no form, no character. For example- It is not sun and its light. Sun = its light. Reflection of light on water grasp the sun's image.
      Here Sun like Brahman does not have any image it is formless, no characters. Its reflection means entire sun will be appearing in the different water pots. This is against the common experience.
      WHen a person sits in the front of many mirrors. Than person has a form. Here Brahaman is formless where can the mirror catch the image of the Brahman?
      When one say in sankara advaita that Brahman is relfecting on avidya or maya or illusion- there is no other way to deem that - Entire brahman with its self-luminosity is concealed by Avidya or maya or illusion and Brahman under the clutches of Maya imagines it to be many. There is not bimba and pratibimba in the Sankara advaita. It is vivartavada
      This is usually concealed by the Sankara philosophy teachers. They misguide the listeners and tactics to show that they are scholars.

    • @Timemachine701
      @Timemachine701 5 лет назад

      If we consider that Maya conceals entire Brahman by avidya and it makes Brahman think that he is many and not one then Maya is more powerfull than Bramhan as she is making Brahman unaware of its true state.This means Brahman is not controlling Maya but Maya is controlling Brahman.

    • @regardsk3815

      Laxmikant Bende all these complexities arise in Sankara philosophy of mayavada advaitia or nirvisesaadvaita.
      That's is why all other Vedanta acharya did not approve Sankara - starting from Ramanuja, madhva, nimbarka, vallabha and Chaitanya.
      Even ramakrishna did not approve mayavada. Ramakrishna Vedanta is bell fruit Vedanta - all three are inseparable as one.

The day one realises that there are limitations to the 'present enjoying' and wishes to come out of those limits with consistent efforts may find Spirituality a better alternative !!! But unlike other pointers showing you the sky ( in 24 hrs the direction of UP will form a CIRCLE !!!) the Advaita takes you inwards and with or without involvement of another empowers you to discover your freedom !!! Plz don't listen to these parrots who do not know what they are telling except paraphrasing the scriptures. Why vedantic knowledge is not straight forward ? why it has been mystified?? Why one needs one interpreter to understand it? There is a purpose to it that by making it mystical and confusing, they can start their business out of it telling that I have the right answer to your question. They will teach u the question what to ask and they will give the answer. Suppose one doesn't know any of Indic knowledge, can he/she ask the billion dollar question 'Who Am I' These people will start teling the followers what will happen during meditation and what will not happen before teaching meditation. this is the trick they will play with u. they will a create a hunger for soul in you and start feeding u some unwanted stuff which your body doesn't need. There is nothing to learn and nothing to transform. u r perfectly ok with what u r. once u listen to anybody after fixing a gaol in your life thenonly your misery comes and u will need these so called saviours of mankind. Sankara interpretation of Upanishad was refuted by many theistic Vedanta Acharya for his Maya illusion concepts. There is no answer by Sankara if u ask where is illusion . Here Swamiji is trying to escape from this question. Jeeva is result of ignorance that is why even Jeeva concept is removed by the aspirant after removing body concept. Brahman is reflected on the water pots means what. Brahman luminosity is reflected on the pot. In sankara Advaita there is no difference between Brahman and is luminosity both are same. So Brahman itself is undergoing the illusion through his own imagination and removing it's coverage and revealing to itself as Brahman.
    This world is going on ever since don't know when. Many are born and many are dying. If all these are illusion on reflected Brahman . Till how long this illusive coverage exist in Brahman ? Is it slowly removing the coverage part by part by still learning the tatva MSI . Even Jeeva Muka are helping the jeevamas then illusion is still existing.
    If removal of illusion is from Brahman but Brahman is under illusion. This is illogical which is usually concealed by the Sankara philosophy preachers .
    Other Vedanta schools accept jeevatama is dependent on Brahman and undergo illusion because of their acts.

      Another example : there was a dog running madly and barking to the sky and there was an eagle flying high calmly just balancing itself and enjoying.
      A Guru explained his students that he was that dog with his ignorance and by elevation of his understanding about the life energy he became the Eagle !!!
      Recall and list the types of "Happiness" (only for your own reference) and how was that Happiness possible.
      Many of them may be possible even now, some by choice and some by chance.
      Just ensure it's all from your own experience. Then,
      One thing was common throughout was You (the individual) !!!
      None of those happy moments were possible in YOUR absence And none of them were possible by ONLY your presence. (Importance of looking at life in its entirety).
      Orange can't be Sun but it's colour at some point could be compared to that of Sun. Similarly all the examples all the philosophy/logics end in 'How capable are the individual is in converting their experiences into words of their time of presence'.
      As you know, ignorance of snake in reality of rope was an example to say negating that which is 'not there, but seems like being there' will lead you to discovery of reality. (At this point purpose of the 'rope-snake' example is over with a suggestion to 'start negating/for the time being keep aside- everything that is not yours to know who YOU are.'
      Here's another example - say, you had clothing of 5 layers. To reach out to the exact point of itching you need to undress few layers if not all. Once you are there, cause, effect, corrections done then, you are free to choose whether you need all those layers to be worn again or you are comfortable without. Here ends this example to indicate that whatever you are today is due to your own choices)
      With due respect to your views, I think essence of the examples play more important role in helping us understand our 'experience of living' better.
      Some examples/lectures/lecturers/books can be misguiding too and that is where our capacity to choose the right track(not at the cost of some others life) has to come into picture.
      Wish you a very happy life.
      Om Namah Shivaya.

      @@cbmcbm2845 When one negate something form other. Orange is not sun and sun is not orange. Negated object does not get vanished like illusion of Snake on rope. This example quoted and concept understood as negation will be a mismatch.
      When one one negate this world from atman. World will not vanish altogether. only our attachment towards this world will vanish and one will not be affected with concequences of everchanging world.
      Nowhere in the Upanishads states that this world is illusion like snake is quoted.
      Definition of example is- a concept used to prove a fact or somthing. Illusive snake does vanish but real world has not yet vanished till today. There is a mismatch in the philosophy of fact in sankara advaita and examples used support the fact in each and every concepts.
      Knowledge of Negation of world is different from Brahman Anubhuti. Sankara says Brahma Anubhuti it Aproksha (immediate) and independant. If you say that Knowledge of negation will lead to Brahma anubhuti it will be paroksha (mediate) and dependant on negation. Example of story - you are the tenth one- which is quoted to say " I am Brahman" is also wrong. Fact and example mismatch. When someone say that "we are Brahman" it becomes Paroksha.

      @regardsk3815 5 лет назад

      @@cbmcbm2845 Another example- When a person sits in front of many mirrors. That persons reflection will appear on all the mirror. When a person moves all the reflection will move the same way.
      But in reality it is not so- all the reflected limited consciousness what they say has all different limited ways of lifestyle and character.
      How can reflected limited consciousness will negate when all the negating knowledge is also a limited reflection?
      Sankara states that only one infinite consciousness exist and that does not have any qualities or attributes or characterless and formless.
      You ask this question to Mr. Swami Sarvapriyananda- who try to speak logic in this lecture. Let him answer this to you.

Neti Neti process will give only the knowledge of absolute difference between the “I” and his/her body product of the world. How will he know that he is Brahman? If you say that he is always- then question yourself- how did Brahman forget himself is own identity?
      If you say that Brahman and I are always same that Neti Neti process will get rid of his knowledge that ‘I is body’- this is result it two
      1. Attribute-less Brahman accidentally or intentionally know itself as I with attributes - is doing the Neti neti to disassociate with Body (from the young and old- only I remains as same- accepted)
      2. If the body does not disappears then transforms in to the product of the world. It will result in Duality. This is opposed to non-duality. World cannot stand by itself without substratum of a consciousness (Brahman). One has to define the relation between two opposites world and Brahman.

      Answer: The process of Neti Neti is to realize and release from Happiness and Suffering resulting from association of the world.
      Detachment and attachment towards the products of the world happens due to ‘ I’ associating with world. It is very natural and real that one associates and disassociates with the world as attachment and unattachment. One gets such dual tendencies because his urge resulting from interaction with world in form of past and present karma tied up with its future karma. It is not illusion.
      When you see a mirage- water in the mirage is real. How? Water is there in the Heat. Only from Heat water is produced. So one sees the water in mirage is true. What is silly is one trying to make an attempt to fetch water. Water containing in the heat is too early for its consumption. There is process for separating fire from water. One has to wait to drink. The defect of urge has influenced him to run for the water towards mirage. Mirage as such is real too. And one removing the defect through right knowledge will help him to know nature clearly. Just with this knowledge you cannot become Brahman.
      “I” has to do devotion to Brahman and Brahman itself will help to reveal itself to I. This I will shift its identity from the world on Brahman(infinite, unchanging ). This is realization and then one will realize that I and world substratum with the Brahman as Organic Unity. Relationship of I and world with infinite Brahman as its infinite body, infinite mode, infinite power.
