I need a Hero - Kingdom Hearts AMV

So back in 2009 I was into making AMV, Anime Movie Videos, and Kingdom Hearts was included in this. A lot of people created AMVs about Animes they really liked. I created one to this song and I absolutely adored it for years, I thought it was my best AMV. I was looking at it yesterday and thought it would be cool to remake it with HD and widescreen clips! My original version was made in Windows Movie Maker and now I edit in Premiere Pro so I also got to look at how my editing has developed over the years. I removed some clips, swapped some, changed the timings and gave it a good old KH HD Remaster! The original can be found here:

I love how it's like... while Riku embody all these qualities "required" of the Hero (he's strong, and fast, and "larger than life" (at least compared to Roxas and Sora ;) )), neither of them him to be their Hero. They are their own Heroes (though, sometimes a little support is appreciated).

Riku is probably the biggest hero of them all, he's suffered more than most (I mean Sora took a bloody nap!) He's gone to the dark and returned to the light. Without Riku, Sora wouldn't have become what he was destined to be :)

@@SophieKing94 You're right. I'm not saying he's not a hero, because he absolutely is. Their story is an infinite loop. They are each strong on their own, strong enough to be their own heroes, but that doesn't mean they can't also be each others heroes😊.

How are you going to say Riku is stronger faster and larger than life compared to Sora?
Riku is only TALLER than Sora.
If you are to compare their feats as fictional characters, Sora absolutely blows Riku out of the fucking water. Sora literally BEAT Riku head-to-head when Riku had Ansems help. And THAT version of Sora is FAR weaker than the one in KH2 and KH3. Sora is far and above more the hero than Riku is

Riku literally was a villain in the first game, to which compelled Sora to beat his ass and knock some sense into him. Secondly, Riku did NOTHING after trabsforming into Ansem and waking Sora up. It was, as Diz would say, the one who moved abotlut the Realm of Light and destroyed orgnization 13. Riku, on the other hand, HID IN THE SHADOWS because he was ashamed of his actions.
A true hero does not hide just because he doesnt want his friend to see what he looks like now. A hero is not afraid to continue to help and ask for help in return.
Yes, Sora has gone to sleep a few times, but Sora OBJECTIVELY has saved more people and defeated more enemies than Riku has. And it isnt even close.
Not only is Sora a far greater hero than Riku, Riku is probably not even the 2nd best hero in the Kingdom Hearts franchise

Haha that ending must have been weird out of context. That's actually my favourite part of my video. I love the Shrek version of the song it has more to work with in terms of beat etc :)
