Orkney is GREAT so you must go, next time.
Archaeological sites going back 5,000 years (plus) round every corner including standing stone circles as impressive and maybe older than Stonehenge, and an unearthed Neolithic village at Skara Brae where you can see inside the houses ..... And the joy of Kirkwall & St Magnus Cathedral. Really lots to see.
Orkney is definitely on the list for next summer!

I’m also loving this video. Looking forward to the ‘500’ series. The groat was an old form of currency and John made his groats by ferrying travellers to and from Orkney. The old ‘ferry terminal’ is named after him. It has never been a town. Thurso is the most northerly town on the British mainland and has the most northerly railway station. I send you both my best wishes for the future. P.S. I’d love to see Will in the Narrowboat for Christmas!

Great vlog of your further Scottish adventures. Lovely little coves, very picturesque. Shame you didn't get to see a Puffin. You must now add it to the list for the future. Hope Charlie you're impressing Lauren with your cold water swimming,, who needs Daniel Craig when we've got Charlie Pauly. What a star Lauren is with doing most of the cooking she always manages to cook up a feast, even the times you are restricted to basic ingredients. Great teamwork all round though as usual. Yeah got to add some levellers for Warrior to the shopping list. I also think you need an awning for the van. I don't know why but I always love it when the van's secret door puts in an appearance. My excitement for the day is that I've been moved to a different hospital room. At the moment I'm comparing my hospital meal today of the smallest jacket potato in the world with Lauren's culinary delights 🙁 One question. There were three of you and four Mars Ice Creams. Who ate the fourth one of did you divide it between the three of you. Take care guys, Graham 🤗💪

She's a diamond for the cooking, I've bagged a good one in that respect! We're working our way backwards on the comments as you've probably noticed but glad your hospital experience wasn't toooo bad! Haha Lauren not a fan of the ice creams so me and Will split them!

A long time ago a family from the village I was brought up in, moved and were the lighthouse keeper there n Durness that's where they lived were there for a lot of yrs and luvd it. At your next stop I had a relative that still lived in a we croft they used 2dig peat out the ground and store it in a shed thats what they burned in their range that was the cooker and fire all winter talk about remote. Not for me there family walked 2 and back from a very small we school every day round trip was 1hr and a half. Stay safe peace ✌

Great Vlog guys, loving it, you guys need to get to the Farne islands or Skomer to shed loads of Puffins. But May next year now they come back to land after spending all winter at sea.

Another great vlog. If you really want to see puffins, mid May to end of July is about the time that they are on land to nest/ fledge. Very few still about in August. Keep this story rolling though!

I was pretty much had the same experience at Dunnet Head on the exact same night, the park ranger wasn't happy 🤣, and ended up at Castle Hill car park too.

Puffin cove looks nice think we’ve just drove past that seeing the sigh, I’ve seen puffins at Bullars o Buchan on the north east coast the( north east 250 ) live in Aberdeenshire travel all over Scotland Munro bagging , Ben Hope is a stunner of a mountain near the area your in with waterfalls our 11 year olds managed it fine x

If you go to pembrokeshire go over to skomer island for puffins but make sure it in puffin breeding season
Lauren will love it there as the puffins nibble your shoelaces.

4:08 This moment where your windshield is a mess of smeary rain 🌧️ made me think that y'all could use a product called " Aquapel " it lasts a lot longer than RainX but is a bit harder to apply. It'll probably take two of you on step stools to apply it correctly, but you won't even need to use your wipers in the rain.

RainX works great, too (not the stuff you add to the washer fluid, but the concentrated stuff) but you need to apply it about once per month. Maybe give the RainX a try first to see if you like the effect.

Corrieshalloch Gorge must see lochinver world famous pie shop also got to see the northern lights Applecross harbour great bar also was free parking don’t know if still is a lot is changing with NC500 becoming to popular don’t know which way you’ll get to Applecross but the best route is driving up down to Applecross unforgettable views enjoy

A lot of people on the route 500 apparently get egged mainly people in caravans.
The first we've heard of it and luckily we didn't experience anything like this.
NC 500 vlogs are just great...dont think I would like the Midges..

Usually I love your videos, but I'm wondering if upon reflection, how you feel about promoting the NC500? I see that you seem to be responsible, and move on when you're asked to. However, I strongly suggest that if you promote these areas of un-ruined beauty, you therefore have a grave responsibility to promote respect and clean-up to others who will watch your videos. After all, not only have you had the privilege to enjoy these environments, but you're also publicising them for RUclips monetary gains. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure you're decent people, but advocating stealth camping etc, will sadly be an attraction to people who aren't as environmentally friendly as you. I implore you to have a think about this.
It's a shame to hear that you didn't love this one. We feel exactly the same as we always do. We simply enjoy documenting our lives and travelling around responsibly in our campervan.
