- This week I travel the NC500, Scotland to explore the East Coast on my NC500 road trip in my stealth campervan. 🚐
We begin our NC500 route by avoiding campsites and following an itinerary that will hopefully show us the best NC500 attractions, including Rogie Falls, Dornoch Beach and Whaligoe Steps.

Just reading your comment's and noticing as your channel grows that you seem to be getting more bitter people, I love your video's and people would know if they had watched from the start that in no way are you fake, your personality and excitement of life and new things is what makes people attached to you so please never change, it is great to see you Lauren and Will all together enjoying life and making memories!

Highland Cows are the cutest!!!!! I was so chuffed to see them in Scotland in real life, it was definitely a highlight moment. I had to get one as a souvenir, not a real one of course (sadly🤣)❤️beautiful vlog.

Haha agreed. It wouldn't be a Scotland trip without a bit of rain! Honestly, we must have covered SOME miles! The scenery has been incredible! We met Will at a Van Life meet up a few weeks ago and agreed on travelling Scotland together which has turned out to be a great decision we think! Hi! You are taking us back in time. In the late 1970s and early 1980s we travelled several times in our Austin Mini car from Bern, Switzerland, to England, Wales and off-course to beautiful Scotland. We remember that we slept several times off-road in our little car.

From Wiltshire, went to Scottish Highlands on holiday 10 years ago...Applecross = BEAUTIFUL!! And we saw LOTS of Highland Cows👍👍

Hi Charlie and Lauren I am watching from St. Kitts, a smallish island in the Caribbean. Along with my sister, brother in law and three adult children we did the NC 500 in 2017, along the east coast. I think because we had leased a fairly big caravan ( sleeping 6) and the west coast ( which I have seen dozens of times on RUclips is more tricky to navigate along. We sort of alternated between camping spots and luxury…we actually rented one of he chalet like villas at John O’Groats for three nights. But I do want to do the west coast some time soon. Thank you for reminding me of my vacation in 2017.

Another great vlog guys. Lovely scenery along the way. Looks like you're cooking some lovely hiking food for your travels. Thankfully through the power of the NHS Wi-Fi I can catch up with what you're doing on my tablet whilst in my hospital bed. What a shame that Highland Cow soft toy was so expensive. One disappointment is no sign of any tartan purchases so far. Haha, got to admit Charlie the description of the Loch Ness Monster as a big dinosaur thing was not your usual high standard tour guide stuff 😁Take care, Graham

Northwoods Tim. I'n 100 miles North of Green Bay Wisconsin. Beautiful scenery. We have similar sights aroun the Great Lakes, Especialy Lake Superior.

Watching from Whaley bridge in the high peak. Nearly got wiped out in 2019 the dam nearly failed. Probably saw us on the tv when it all happened 😁😁😁

@@CharliePauly yes thank god, was pretty scary, those who lived a below the dam got evacuated,so the village was a ghost town for five days while they pumped hundreds of thousands of litres of water out of the reservoir .

Did you really just realise Loch Ness is a real place? Very relieved you had all the anti-midge gear; which is why we usually drove along the shore but didn't stop. The road across the north coast is beautiful as well. The NC 500 wasn't a thing twenty years back when I was there last. Go inland for some impressive scenery and much easier now a lot of the roads have been upgraded. No more putting rocks into a pothole to get the little MG Midget through.
