- It's amazing what you stumble upon whilst cruising around the backroads of India. Somewhere in Himachal Pradesh I saw a park full of thousands of colourfully dressed people and decided to go and make some new friends and practice my Hindi...

It was a spiritual discourse being held there earlier at the place. Radha soami satsang. I was there. After the discourse people are served food (the moment that you captured). People were collecting their own mobile phones that they earlier deposited as the mobile phones aren't allowed inside while the discourse is still in motion. No free mobiles 😁 Good work mr bald n safe travels!!!

Why does Bald have to make it so difficult for himself, not understanding the language of the people and places he visits? Why can't he take a person with him on his travels that will know the language? It is sometimes frustrating watching these videos.

The one of the reasons the British media both print media and television media are incredibly negative on India and very condensending attitude. It is the character of such religious/spiritual institutions and the people who follow them. They are bound my a common ideology and an obligation to follow it. You will see it with many such spiritual organisations in India. In the West they call them cults and dismiss them.

I teach 9th graders and I wish I could get them to understand how INCREDIBLY lucky they are for what they have. If they were to be in this environmental for 10 minutes, they would have no idea what to do with themselves. Even for me, it's crazy to see so many people in what we would call the wilderness. U have rightly mentioned at the end that it is the good people what makes India unique (remember the cookie guy) but at the same time there r bad ppl also but they r everywhere in each country and society, ours is a culture which teaches vasudhev kutumbakam( whole earth is my home, transcending boundaries and treating all human beings as brother and sisters) and also to treat guest as God ( atithi devo bhava). Lots of people but still very orderly and civil. Im amazed everyone takes their plates and cups back and they are all stacked so nicely.
Westerners in a big crowd wouldn't behave like this. 1/2 the plates would just be left on the ground and there would be trash everywhere.

Hello Mr bald The place where you was filming it's holy place called Radha Soami Satsang Beas & The people who was ate the food is called Langar which means free holy meal in hindi .The head or spiritual leader of this holy places is Baba Gurinder Singh ji. My friend you should eat this if you get chance in next time as a prashad .

Visit Kumbh Fair in January in Prayagraj in UP. It is world's largest human gathering. Approximately 20 million people will take bath on the banks of mother Ganga in Kumbh in Prayagraj.

Mr Bald it is called 'langar 'where all rich and poor eat together on some religious occasion .In 'Gurdwaras 'Sikh religious places it is conducted daily every section of community can come irrespective of religion.
