    so I took a few practice shots bin my house…set the exposure @0, then popped a 1/4, a 1/2, and a full power shot, WTH the AD 200 on the mini monopod/cage, with a MagMod sphere on it…blended 3 HDR shots with Enfuse, then used your method of blending the flash with color/darken modes & tweaked in LR…kinda satisfied with the results…

      Sounds good to me. It's all just trial and error and making sure you get enough shots to work with! Thanks for the update!

    Nice Discovery Joe! I just tested this out on yesterday's shoot on a sample room and it worked. Slick!

    Great tutorial! Your towel comment made me smile, I did my 1st listing shoot the other day for a realtor and the constructive feedback I got was that I should've 'moved more stuff' out of the photos, particularly a dog guard..you live and learn! 😉

      Oh for sure! I've been doing this 6 years now and still miss entire rooms on a rare occasion. I do offer to go back and shoot it or I refund them some money in some cases. Ugh. Lol.

      @@joefoto yeah I would've too, but it clearly wasn't a deal-breaker for them..luckily!

    Amazing tutorial. I mean all your videos bro
    For an ambient shot , what would you recommend for exposure? Sometimes 0 isn’t enough.

      Most times I'm pushing that histogram to the right so +1 usually gives me enough.

    Hi Joe, great video, thanks a lot!
    Quick question, I assumed that you use M mode, why don’t you use TTL auto mode?

      Ttl is not consistent and ends up taking longer.

    Nice! If you have a composite, are you blending that first, merging, then moving it to the top and duplicating the layer to color?

    • @joefoto
      @joefoto  4 месяца назад +1

      Yes! Build your flash layers into one image then begin this process.

    Interesting method, but there's no control over ambient %

    • @joefoto
      @joefoto  3 месяца назад

      Yes. When you duplicate layer and make it darken mode, you can paint back in as much flash as needed. The color layer corrects for color similar to doing luminosity mode.
