He’s not telling jokes, talking about everyday life.....GENIUS
I mean some of them definitely are jokes, like "you're not even Irish".
Did you learn that from Stewart Lee
His comedy never gets old. I have watched this several times and he still makes me laugh. He's just such a naturally funny bloke with a wonderful observation of everyday life. Comic genius.
I love the fact that Peter's mum and gran were in the audience and laughing at the stuff he's noticed about them. Great sports. :)
Oh yes, it was so touching to see his family showing so much fondness in his performance. #PeterKay
believe me i tried but i dont get it
@@billsamuls7620 Sorry Bill, what is it you don't get? I understand everyone's sense of humour is different so maybe we can help? :)
they can understand him. i have no idea what he is saying. bye at 30 seconds.
AS IV SAID BEFORE JUST A NICE BLOKE
I know that everyone else has already said it but I just wanted to chime in. This is an absolutely extraordinary level of talent and, as others have mentioned, without having to rely on the crutches of smut or swearing at all.
The genius of Peter Kay is that he shows us a mirror. We laugh at ourselves.
Phantom Navigator well fuck off and watch something else then. Simple!
That is EXACTLY it. All of us can relate to the comedy that is life in general. "You gotta laugh, if you dont you'll cry"
@@paulsilcock6923 Exactly if you don't find Peter Kay funny which means ourselves you need a humour transplant.
True true to that
Laughing at everything he says, because we all can relate to him 🤣🤣🤣
After a miserable day and put that ray of sunshine on called Peter Kay.always leaves a smile on my face.come on Peter get back in television
Don't you mean 'get back on th'elly'?
Love im to bits.
Peter Kaye can make an entire audience piss themselves for the whole show, without swearing, smut, slating others. He just uses the comedy of the working class people, which if you’re a child of the 70/80’s you can totally relate to. He’s a genius
Great name by the way 👍
I think many generations will relate especially from the Noorth. I'm a child of the 60s.
headshot hit I agree completely
@@tarantulagirl - Brilliant.. this is best misheard lyric ever 👏👏👏
That’s the sign of real class and a gentleman. ❤️🦋🙏
His mum and nana in the audience ❤️❤️❤️ relatable and brilliant
One of the best British stand-ups ever! Loved.
So funny. He’s got that audience in the palm of his hand - in a really nice way.
Peter Kay is a comedy genius and I like many people hope he feels better then a while ago and gets back to doing what he does best, and that’s make everyone laugh.
@Alberto I was gonna ask the same thing. I know he cancelled a stand up tour for 'personal reasons' but I never did find out what was wrong.
@@gutz323 No one ever did. He's been spending the last couple of years in Ireland apparently.
Simondo81 I think his nan died
@@first-officerspock6191 Ok, thanks.
@@first-officerspock6191 oh!
Glad Peters putting his family first at the moment. His career will ALWAYS be there - he’s so loved! But kids grow up so fast and family is more important than money, especially in times like these. God bless you and yours Peter Kay. ❤️❤️❤️🦋🙏
Peter Kaye is a national TONIC.
Just watched this and can see how quick and funny he is.
Regardless to the age of the audience, Peter Kaye unites people to find humour in everything, without being nasty, cruel or sexual. A treasure from ' up north' , Bolton.👏💕
You can see the pride in his grandmother's eyes...
The greatest comedian of the last 20yrs, no doubt.
Maybe the case, but were is the competition. All we have now are modern-day pc droning gits.
Well Jimmy carr is really good.
Lee evans by far. In my opinion
And Kevin bridges 🏴🏴🏴
no
I cried laughing when I saw this - and it brought back a memory that started me off again. My Anti Annie (that's the way we used to pronounce it) had exactly the same red chord in her kitchen and bathroom in the warden controlled flat she was moved into in 1985 when she was in her late 80s. She was mostly blind and quite deaf by that stage but still one hell of a trooper. She used to pull the chord when she was making chips (in lard on a gas cooker) because she knew that when the warden banged on the door, they were ready.
XDDDD
ludocrat 😂🤣 ahhh man that really made me giggle , thanks for that , sounds like she was ace . Bet she were a right card 😄
That's funny, you've got me in stitches 😂😂
Brilliant. Hope the warden always got a chip! 😆
Hahaha...excellent!! 🤣🤣👌
Love you Peter I've Been Depressed But You have cheered me up, I've not laughed like this for ages xx
Shouldn't have watched this eating my dinner.....nearly choked on it! Loved this the first time I ever saw it & it's still just as funny. Hopefully I get to see him live again sometime - best comedian going x
Good clean humour - he remembers a lot more 80s childhood stuff than I do - it all comes flooding back when he mentions it!
He is a CLASS act, i just hope when he tours again that he still has it
Peter Kay, without doubt, is the most polished and accomplished comedian of all time. His timing, observation and delivery is beyond perfect. His versatility is sublime.
Up there with Ronnie Barker
I think you,ll find that Richard Pryor and Billy Connolly want a word
Peter Kay's performances should be available on the NHS!
Should play them in hospitals to the patients they would soon be better.
It's true Jonathon ! I defy anyone feeling a bit crap to watch him and not be feel cheered up.
Watched the clip about the 'Dogs lipstick' on This Monday with Ruth and Eamonn, I literally nearly peed myself laughing!!😂😂😂😂🙏🤡
What a great idea....as long as you haven't had to have stitches !😉
They available on VHS
Do ye want 'Th'ambulance'?
Fookin love Peter Kay, he is genuinely, and naturally hilarious. I always watch his clips when I'm feeling a bit pissed off, and even when I'm not.
It definitely helps to watch him. Carshare definitely rocked.
I'm having a stressful few weeks and Peter always makes me laugh and feel better.
Dogs 🐕 lipstick on This Morning with Ruth and Eamonn! 😂😂😂😂😂🤡
We need more Peter Kay he’s the big light.
This guy deserves a medal he's so funny hope you and your family are ok all the best for the future ❤
Love this reply
Trust me, young people. At age 67, it seems like I was 25 only last week. Time really goes that fast.
@@lucymcdee9109 I remember my Mum once said to me "One day when you get to 50 you'll wonder where the years have gone to" I'm bloody 59 myself now and can't believe how quickly the last 30 years have gone 😞 Youth is definitely wasted on the young lol.
@@lucymcdee9109 I bet you don't look a day over 35 ! 😘👌
Laura, nor you!!!.......😉🙂😁
@@laurajames9948 59 and still cracking I bet 😉
@@currymonster6516 Hahaha..I do ok..Age is of no consequence..unless you're a cheese 👌🤣🤣
As a District Nurse, with a daily round that included a lot of warden controlled flats, I would set off those wretched alarms at least once a day! Usually the one just inside the bathroom, where you think the light cord would be.
"Oops sorry Carol, that were me again, I never learn!"
"What you like, are you ever going to get this right?" (laughing)
I could literally hear this conversation playing in my head when I heard Peter's comments here. Thank you for the ridiculous memories of happier, sillier times!
Peter, thank you! I always smile, laugh, and nearly wet myself when I hear you!
That’s ok, I’ve got a Carelink bracelet which I keep in my pocket (the elastic makes my skin itch), I’m forever leaning on my pocket and setting the alarm off! Few weeks back was sitting in the rocking chair hoovering my bedroom when a neighbour burst through the door, they’d all been trying to get hold of me for ages and thought I was out cold on the bedroom floor! Lmao 😂! I’d only knocked it again and hadn’t heard the Carelink box go off or the phone or my mobile or the neighbour coming in! Scared the living day lights out of me 😱 but not as much as I did them! Oopppss! 🤣😂🤣❤️🦋🙏
"I'll just hold it round me - it'll be reet!" 😆
My Nan and Grandad used to do the same... you could never reason with them or get a clear answer as to why!!!!😂
@@cg2bx264 exactly the same. My nan used to do it.
My nanna Violet used to do this 😅
I haven't laughed that much in ages. Peter, Sir......you are Top Class. Cheers.
Peter Kay ! One of the best comedians to ever come from the uk ! Legend
No matter what Peter Kay never fails to make me laugh till I nearly pee lol 😂
YOU'RE so right, he makes my day. I've got this on DVD or VD as Peter's nan said, and it still makes me crease up even though I've seen it many times before. I must get out more! Thambulance!
Peter it's your duty to come back and cheer this miserable Country up. Top man.
His “duty” is to his family! And thank Ganesh he’s wise enough to know that.
And here we are 😊
He's a comedic genius. We need many more like him.
There's only one PK.
@@blackporscheroadster6415 Go in any Northern pub and you'll find a PK lol
@@DarrenHarrison7160 No, you'll find somebody who 'THINKS' he's a Peter Kay, but is actually as funny as testicular cancer. This is especially prevalent in Merseyside, except there they all think they are Stan Boardman.
@@blackporscheroadster6415 Awwwww sweetie, don't cry, it's only satire........
Brilliant description of warden control home, my mum lives in one and the red cords are exactly as Peter says, the one in the bathroom tied up as well. So funny.
Peter understands people that’s what makes a great comedian.peter your a star stay well
'Ey dougie ey its peter ere'- dunno why i find it so funny that bit im howling
I utterly adore him. Such a naturally funny human ❤
Obviously comedy is subjective but I think about why I find his comedy so compelling. The first thing that strikes me about him is he's got this really warm accent and way of speaking which makes everything he's saying sound positive in a weird way. I feel the same about some American accents in that I always thought they sounded "warm" too, so he has this welcoming sit-com vibe to him. What makes him funny though is the way he finds the humour in every day observations, the manages to make the world make fun of itself in a way, just by pointing something out in a particular context. He's not toured for a while and I feel like he doesn't want too anymore, maybe there's a limitation to the amount of every day things you can write about, which is the majority of his content. I wish he'd tour again because he's pretty unique.
He's not toured owing to a private family issue.
Peter is a right tonic. Just the job with this corona virus goin on.
Peter Kay is a comedy legend, and he just so perfect, during the coronavirus. He has always made me laugh.
The seatbelt comment had me in stitches... My great nan always used to do the same... Would go the whole journey just holding the seatbelt across her about an inch away from the clip.. 😂😂😂🤷♂️🤷♂️
I recall like yesterday playing football in the park on a Sunday morning then to the pub for a few beers. The pubs back then in the 70s and 80s,had free food on the bar(Roast potatoes, chicken wings, pork ribs and all sorts of seafood).
That does not feel like it was 40 years ago but as others have said, time will go faster than you will believe!.
Take it from us oldies, time really does fly.
Peter Kay you are brilliant with your tales of our everyday lives! Especially with the older rellies!
Peter is the mirror image of Victoria Wood. Both have the full set of skills and a genius for feeding back the insanity and mundanity of our every day lives.
" I take her out sometimes I don't mean with a rifle"🤣🤣🤣🤣Keep them coming...
I am glad I have seen him 3 times. Cant wait for the next show
nw8000 so lucky 😔😭
Peter Kay ... is so funny .... I cry with laughter
I remember my parents got this on dvd when I was younger. They way my da laughed at it was a side to the old man I had never seen. He was literally crying with laughter. I was probably about 12 but even I could appreciate the comedy genius I was witnessing. Class
Goodness me, still is funny after all these years. What a man
I love you Peter ,your the best ,simply the best ,better than all the rest xxxx
I have never laughed so much so true ❤😂😂😂
Hilarious!! Peter Kay - if you've never been to Canada....please do come!!! You are a funny, funny guy!

This is the best type of comedy, simple. It effective. ❤️
Never watched Peter Kay and was wondering what all the hullabaloo was aboot.
I understand completely, haven’t laughed this hard for a while
There are only two really funny comedians in Britain today Peter Kay and Sarah Millican, thank you both you really make me curl up with laughter, tears rolling.
What a superb Comedian!! So observant and uses it so hilariously!! Best ever....could certainly make depression, etc disappear for the length of his time on stage!!! So normal and so modest!! Thank You Peter Kay for making this scary World better!!!! Greetings from Heidelberg Deutschland!!!👌❣🤣🤣🤣🇩🇪
Come back soon a peter...we miss you x
2020 and it’s still comedy gold
I love his giggles in between lines
He is the only comedian who makes me laugh out loud. All the old ones have gone but we've got Peter. Great observationist, you know all his characters. Genius.
Although he's not my favourite comedian, one thing I always notice with Peter Kay shows is that the audience are always pissing themselves laughing, literally the whole way through. There's no real build up or breaks with other comedians, he just says one funny thing after the other and there's literally always laughter throughout the whole show.
I think that because he gained notoriety early on, people just thought he might not always maintain the quality. Even thought it might have gone to his head a bit. But he just tells life as it is without really offending anyone. It's a tonic on a bad day and even a good day.
@ im not particularly young any more and I don't have a favourite comedian as such, but I quite like Tim Vine, Jimmy Carr, Milton Jones, Lee Evans, Rhod Gilbert and Michael Macintyre
So nice to see people laughing he is so funny
Peter kay god bless him he's a jem, life is a joke don't take it to SERIOUS!😎♥️🎉
Hilarious man, we need more.
Peter Kay is an amazing comedian, the best from the north

I forgot how funny Peter Kay is. I'm crying lol.
Absolutely love this guy, the funniest he's great 😂 xxx
the pull chord in the bathroom reminds me of stopping at my Aunty Flos twice I pulled it and Aunt was saying its okay got my niece with me! I went to the loo in the dark after that!
This is better than hearing about kin Coronavirus.
it's not as funny....
Then why did you bring it up?
Fekin el. I never thought of that pearl of wisdom and originality.
What's corona virus?
I have to tell someone this. My mum has Alzeimers. She has a mechanical cat from Dementia Australia. We are all born and bred in our suburb. Anyway, I bump a local. He said to me that he was driving past mum's place and wasn't sure if he should stop. He saw my mum outside her place carrying a dead cat . She was carrying it upside down . It was as stiff as a board. Well, after trying to keep a straight face, I just cracked up laughing. Then he said to me, " What is f--king wrong with you ?" He repeated that twice and then I contained myself long enough to tell him the cat was mechanical and then I was off again !! I am laughing now about it. Gotta love him. True story.
