  • You hear people always talking about the quality of food outside of the United States and coincidentally, I came across cans of Italian chickpeas being sold at an Italian grocer in Scottsdale, AZ. I decided to buy a can to do a comparison between American chickpeas and Italian chickpeas. The results were a bit surprising. I may only buy Italian chickpeas from now on.

The Italian can actually contains more, 3 x 130g = 330g as opposed to the American ones which was 3 servings x 135g = 275g. Serving sizes, or the number of servings is not an indcator of anything, always go by weight.
