Several years ago I was struggling to break 95 and was so discouraged I was getting ready to quit golf for good. Then I ran across the DEAD drill and it was around Christmas. I practiced those moves until the first pretty day in January and I couldn't wait to try it out. I shot a 72!!!. I thought it had to be a fluke so the next day I went back and shot another 72 and I've been shooting in the low to mid 70's ever since. Thank you so much for sharing this drill.

Dear Chuck! You are a golf genius and hero for many amateur golfers. I have started golf since last 5 years and since then struggling to get better. Have seen thousands of youtube videos and many instructors but could not improve my golf much. I am a regular player but constantly hook the ball with slice and shanks at times....felt frustrated and at one point I started thinking to quit this game. I am an 11 handicapper. I saw this DEAD drill.... worked on it for one week constantly at home and at range.. It is simply a miracle... my distance improved with no slice or hook and with good ball compression....After this drill now I can hit 8 iron from 140 yards to 165. I feel that golf is so easy now with this simple drill (three moves). I would recommend all the amateurs struggling like me for past so many years that just master this drill for one month and your golf will be so easy.... Hats off to you sir.

Another golfer CRUSHING the ball in Germany:
    Hi Chuck,
I‘m Jürgen from Germany, so sorry for my english...
As you send me the handout i read it instantly.
As a member of the Academy my hcp dropped from 12 to 9 in a period of a half year.
Since I got the handout it dropped to 7 in two or three days!!!!! I knew all the videos before and constantly work on my swing.
The summarys and checkpoints you show so brief and clear in the handout are another breakthrough in my swing. Before I was hitting my Driver 265 yards, now i am at 300 most of the time dead straight. Shot a 77 today with three 3 putts from 10 feet. Amazing!!!!!
Thx a lot, can‘t wait the bootcamp to start!!!
I have got a Trackman at home, but the money I spend on RotarySwing was the best i ever did!
    Thank you,
    Jürgen

I ran across this back in November of 2019 when you sent me this video. I toyed with it a little bit but a couple weeks ago I took it to the golf course and I hit several series of nine balls using a different iron on each series and shooting to several locations. I noticed immediately I wasn't chunking the ball. From my sand wedge to my 4 iron I was hitting them clean. Thanks to the video instruction I was no longer putting my club face in a dead zone where I was having to recover from. My distance increase immediately to what it use to be when i was shooting in the mid 70's. Lately I had been struggling to shoot in the low 80's and was making very few pars. My drives weren't going anywhere and no matter what I did to try to fix it nothing seemed to work. After a few series to warm up I played around and man was I surprised. The week before this I shot a 90 and the next week after working on this DEAD drill I shot a 76, 78, 72, 72 and a 77. The 77 was in the rain, in January, in WV because I wanted to see if it was a fluke. It's not. Wow I am impressed. Thank you so much for this precious gift you have given to the world. God bless you for sharing this with me.

Hi Todd, my belief in life is that if I work my ass off to help people FIRST and chase THEIR happiness, the money and my happiness will take care of itself. The world needs more people focused on solving the problems of others and fewer people focused on convincing us to buy something that doesn’t solve a thing.

First, I’d like to say kudos to you Quinton. You have successfully developed a program that works without the endorsement or credited association of golf professionals. I’m so happy to know that I’ve been teaching the right method for so long and someone else was forging the path with medical advisory professionals and you’re tremendous knowledge of many different disciplines and functional movement. I’m sorry to inform you that I will not be working towards your certification program due to the arduous process of becoming a RST master professional. It almost feels like you’d have to go through the whole process of explaining all the reasons you don’t do it the other way. I’ve already spent more than fifteen plus years doing just that. I just wanted to acknowledge your process and congratulate you in your success. I’m truly happy for your enlightenment and the game of golf for your existence! This has made my year. I could never be too proud to acknowledge your achievement. Hope to meet you someday and play a round at a challenging setup course. Do you still play with your fusion procedure? I hope you’re able to.
May you forever be gifted anything you desire for your giving back to the game that has given so much to me and people like yourself. I am truly fulfilled with your validating all that I know and teach.

The shoulder thing was a eureka moment for me also. When I learned to transition properly it was over. My swing has been solid ever since. I went from practicing five days a week because I could never find it or keep it. To practicing for 30 minutes three days a week on my swing. It's held for over a year now.
It has allowed me to focus more on my short game and overall have become a much better player. I can hit 12 or 13 greens a round now!! I used to hit two.

Chuck, awesome sauce all over my brain! I wanted to sign up and come to a boot camp last fall/winter, but totalled my car end of last September! Here's the blessing part, not only am I fully recovered but I started breaking 80 last month! How? Funny you should ask? It hit me as I was helping 3 newbies about 2 months ago, when I told them the golf swing is simply turn and turn! Yes, turn the right shoulder til your back is facing the target. Then turn back square club face to the finish facing your target! You sir now complete me with the in between! TY TY TY, and when you have the videos online, I'm all in. Before my light bulb went off I was a consistent 14 handicap, and I just shot 2 rounds of even par first ever in my life in the past few weeks. To be fair I shot 72 on a Monday, then a 95 the following Thursday! awww... but then a 79, 84, 79 and a 72 the following Friday a week ago. Long story short I know I will find consistency now, thank you again a thousand times. See you before the winter is out! And for the record I am 70 YO, so my next goal is to shot my age and for the first time I feel confident with your help I'll do it!

You will have to Work hard on strength and conditioning and/or golf specific co- ordination drills. Eg every good golfer thats ever lived can bounce a ball on a wedge! Most of you watching this cant and will never even try!(took me a month)This doesnt mean a juggler would instantly be a great golfer!

Chuck rocks! ... btw Chuck, as a testament to this drill, this is exactly what I have been instructing my co-worker friends (that I told you about) to do. The one particular fellow I told you about who is just beginning to actually play on course has been working on exactly this drill (you perform and describe it better than I, however). As I told you before, with only having played 3 rounds of golf in his life, he is already able to begin work on all of the other nuances of the golf "game" like pitching, chipping, putting, sand and especially, one thing too many people seem to lack .. GOLF ETIQUETTE !!! .. My friend is super happy with what he has been able to learn as a RotarySwing member as well !!! .. and we will both continue to be members for some time to come (along with the 3 others I have now gotten going with this).
Thank you Chuck !!! .. I am absolutely loving what you are doing for all of us and for the game of golf .. the greatest game ever invented!

I keep telling everyone I know, THIS is the way you learn to play golf! .. if you can make it this easy, you will bring a whole lot more people into the game. I believe there are a lot of people that would love to play if it weren't so difficult to learn. Making it THIS easy to learn could be quite a game changer to the entire golf industry .. in my view. As you said in your video (and I have mentioned to you before), if only I knew this about 30 years ago !!! ... Totally worked, and I realized I previously had a poor step 3 and my bad shot is often a push. Your making this process simple really helped alot. I had less pushes, more powerful shots and better finish balance. I don't recommend you start on course but rather practice on the range first. I love the DEAD DRILL! Transitioning to real balls is the final hurdle if you're a beginner like me so take your time with that. I took my new swing to the course in the last couple of weeks and was getting onto the Par 4 Greens in 3 shots - not bad when you have a handicap of 45 (which will be coming down very soon!). This is hands down the best information and teaching on the golf swing there is. If you want a professional grade golf swing that will stay with you, and is very easy to understand, there is nothing better than Rotatryswing out there. This is in no way and advertisement, just the testimony of someone that was frustrated with the game, and had tried absolutely every system and book there is.
You just have to put in the time, and be prepared to stay with it. Don't just move on to something else if you don't get it straight away, or you'll be stuck in a loop forever. This works, it's as simple as that.
PS: thanks for all the free content you put up on RUclips as well Chuck, it's hugely appreciated.

Kudos. The psychology of performing the swing without the club to neutralize the hit instinct is what I’ve been working on recently and it really works. It takes time to undo bad habits, but would you rather be constantly improving or getting gradually worse? Get process oriented and stay with it. Of course none of my golf buddies even practice let alone have a method lol. This guy is good.

You have no idea what happened for me today when I used your drill. I now know how to get there. I have struggled since I was 37 and had my right knee was replaced in 1997. My game never recovered and even though I played, I was terrible and hated the game I love. I had my knee revised 6 years ago and I was only worse. No lower body at all. Total loss of proprioception. Tons of lessons to get my once decent game back and total inconsistancy and grief. I was working with my 25 year old son who is a +4, and is a great ball striker. He stopped and told to do nothing but your transition move and forget everything else, and then all of a sudden I hit a golf ball the way I used to. I had seen your video and blew it off due to total frustration, but you are dead on right. I think I have hope. Thank you. I don't think I had ever seen your work, but I am going to listen now.

I love this! Working with your other drills, I never appreciated that the key was to keep my shoulders back while squatting and posting. It is so tempting to start turning the shoulders toward the ball right away. But a week ago, it dawned on me that I should not move my shoulders. Now this great video totally confirms that concept. Chuck says, "not turn your shoulders, at all." I'm sure you say that in your other videos, but I never caught it. Thanks for clarifying it here.

I know this is a crazy comparison. I've been a ballroom dance instructor for 20 years. I've spent years trying to teach people that every movement (even walking) comes from their center (inside). Your explanation of the swing follows the same principles. Love it. I've been doing something similar in my own swing for a while to good success but incorporated way too many thoughts. Love the simplicity and can't wait to try it out.

I tried the DST compressor which wants me to swing by rotating my hip and holding on to the grip without turning over. Had some success but when I tried Chuck's method, I noticed the diff instantly.

The biggest thing is that I actually am not guessing anymore and know pretty well what I am doing wrong and what do I need to do right. Repetition and practice. No short cuts. @@Rotaryswing Ok I just came back from the range after Day 1 of your motherload video..hahah or dead simple. Here is my feedback on the 3 steps so far. #1 Watching this video I picked up that my shoulder turn was very flat. At the range I got my left shoulder turning under me more while my weight shifted to my right leg. Hence the club went higher in the air and it made dropping the head of the club at the top of the swing and creating lag in my wrist much easier. I always had a problem with keeping my wrist too straight. #2 this is the hardest part for me. When going back to the sit position ..do nothing with my arms and chest. As you say..going to the sit position pulls your arms down and moves your chest a little more to square. This is where I want to swing and hit with my arms. It becomes pretty obvious quickly. Doing nothing is the hardest thing for me!!! When I was able to do it a few times...it felt like I couldn't miss the ball and hit it very solid. #3 Posting. Using the ground as leverage I finally feel like I know where the power in the swing comes from. NOT from trying to swing my arms at the top and try to hit the ball from there!!! Once I sat and got into the slot area with my arms and club by doing nothing with my chest and arms ...it felt like I had unlimited power by just posting on my left side. Very different that I have ever felt. I never quite knew how to get my weight over there ..and now just by posting ...my weight shifts naturally. Conclusion. This is the road map!!!! Lots of work to get the nuances ...today was a start...this weekend I have my Club C....so shall see!!! Thanks so much again for all you have done for us golfers out here!!!!!

@@jamesbond4633 Ya buddy! Fun huh?! The transition is the tricky part for most, for sure. During the BootCamp I'm going to talk about the time of when the arms need to start to work to add speed as the energy from the trunk rotation and leverage creation starts to transfer to the arms. Sounds like you got the feeling a couple times already which is awesome! When done right, you'll feel like you didn't swing at all!

Hi fellas. Bob in Cypress here (Houston). Love the 3 moves. My wife's coworker Tony, 48 years old, got a promotion a couple of weeks ago in construction. He has to go play a Major Golf Course in Austin next Tuesday with his Construction co-workers in a BIG charity golf tournament. So we were a little short on time. He had nothing. He is a former Marine. My Best Friend, Best Man, Golf Nemesis, and former Marine Walt passed away about a year ago. They were both somewhat short guys. Walt's wife was not a golfer so she requested I clean out his golf closet for her. Tony saw the equipment and was elated. He of course wanted to pay me for all the equipment to which I replied that Walt would have been honored to have his equipment go to a fellow Marine. I showed Tony the DEAD Drill last Friday and told him his goal was to get 50 - 125 reps done in front of a mirror by Wednesday, three days ago. Of course the goal is 500 and he understands that. Tony has never had a club in his hands. He was a clean slate. We worked very diligently on grip, building him a routine, and then combined the DEAD Drill with a 7 iron. We probably hit 45 balls on Wednesday. Swing 45 was darn near perfect and he had a grin on his face like a Halloween Pumpkin. Therefore, I had him stop on that shot. Thursday I took him to my club and we worked on Putting, Chipping, Pitching, and Sand Shots. Yesterday, Friday, I had his wife and my wife join us at the Club. We have a gorgeous Outside Bar called the Tourne. The wives stayed there while I gave Tony his final lesson before his tournament. We hit 7 iron, Hybrid, 3 wood, and Driver. He hit all of them reasonably. He was thrilled. We haven't even hit 100 balls yet. I'm not a Pro but I have played for 64 years. THIS IS THE EASIEST WAY I HAVE EVER TAUGHT A NEW STUDENT...Bob in Cypress

Top class! Simple explanation of something that is complex with a lot of moving parts. The golf swing has a lot more to do with stretching and extending / compressing and shortening than it does twisting and turning. The two sides the body do these things in harmony and that translates to rotation, but, our muscles lengthen and shorten in pairs to make movement they don’t turn and twist That’s a much better thought than what typically communicated. Best video I’ve seen in a long time.

Earlier today, I took this out to the driving range. Because I have been with you for 6 years, I was able to make use of it immediately. Whenever I would make an errant swing I would do about 5-10 reps of the drill. I would immediately realize the problem and make the necessary correction(s). As of late I have been hitting the ball well, but today I hit it better.

I swing a very heavy leaded club every evening in the driveway (70 reps) with these movements Chuck teaches. It strengthens and stretches the appropriate golf muscles and grooves a swing in a hurry. It is good to start with only a few reps so you don't pull a muscle. It takes less than 5 minutes.

And I'm looking at 2 knee replacements. I took about 8 years off from golf. And started up again. But rotation seems to be harder now. Lol. I'm 58 but still strong and determined to keep going. I'm trying the stack and tilt method. And within a couple of bucket of balls. I'm already seeing better contact. But alot lower ball flight's. So I understand your method. Now to try and put the body parts together.lol. hopefully it will come together. And I will be physically able to get this in a subconscious process.

Please read this: as a former 3 sport athlete in HS and 2 sport athlete in college, golf has always been the most difficult for me to do well at. Been a member at private club for years, had many private lessons, Jimmy Ballard disciple for sure...but i always come back to sucking unless i really worked at this game relentlessly... frustrated by non athletic people beating me in golf etc.... 3 years ago i found rotary swing..i couldn't stop watching the videos...it was so simple... to make this story short, I've helped many quaterbacks achieve a high level of success by teaching big muscle movement and using the earth as their leverage..just like aaron rogers and tom brady do..amongst many others. So what compelled me was the parallels to what I taught my qb's... I went from a 15 handicap to a 9 within weeks and when i told people it was from videos, the laughed. I got away from golf b/c of kids sports and got back in and again struggled..... thought i would remember, do it on my own but it wasnt' clicking...I was consistently in the mid to high 80s but my expectations were now to shoot low 80's, high 70's..... after watching so many diff instructors online...and there are some very good ones: ballards son, mrshortgame is very good....i never had the feeling like it did from the rotary swing videos...so I went back in, re upped my subscription and started watching my old favorites.... next day, hit the range, played 9 holes solo and BAM, it was back..... i've never wrote a testimonial of this length before but i feel compelled to saw that this really is the very best i've seen. Craig Harmon...head pro at Oak Hill CC in my back yard is the only other instructor that made the impact. Thank you bro....this is the real deal and for anyone struggling with feeling no power, no control, no idea where the ball is going to go....sign up and pay a few bucks to access the videos where he lays it out...its so freaking good and it works so incredibly well...good luck fellas.

Chuck, have to say I am hopeful to be one of the beta members of your upcoming bootcamp. I was a premium member a couple years ago but never could synch all of the swing components perfectly. Been playing many years and have only recently been able to understand what has caused my limitations. Had been getting close to finding the promised Land but something always broke down. Well when your email on the "last drill" showed up it clicked.
Had to work and tweek feels but I can say that I feel I'm as close to hitting the ball the way I've always wanted and honestly never thought I could. I live in Utah and high altitude aside I am killing the ball, irons and woods. At age 51 and in three days after watching the RUclips instruction I have gone from hitting an 8 iron 165 to almost 190. Driver from 275 to 320. Having difficulty playing because i don't know my distances any more. Anyway really excited like many of your other members and am hoping this is not a short term fix.
