Wondering how you got the bottom clips off. I can get the clamps compressed but the moment I try to move them, they slip from my pliers and won’t move. It seems they have a small hole on the clamp. Do I need some special tool other than needle noose?
Does anyone have any idea what the fitting that goes into the motor itself called ? Mines leaking at the fitting and I don’t see a need in replacing the whole line for a simple fitting
Another video I saw suggested using a thin zip tie to compress it in order to get it off. I realize you have probably already sorted your problem but I say this for future viewers.
No reason to buy a new hose Fitting Dorman 90 degree 800-418 is 3/4 push to 3/4 hose or 800-411 is a straight if preferred, I believe 90 is better because the hose pulls hard on that fitting causing fatigue. 1in PEX barb has 3/4 OD clamps Splice the hose as needed might have add short piece or may be not depending on the splice location Don't know about the 2014 and prior, 2015 and up have a 3/4 hose and the fitting is 3/4 Info Dorman 800-404 is a straight 3/4 push to 1/2 hose Dorman 800-403 is a straight 1/2 push to 1/2 hose
Yeah.. My mistake.. lol. I positioned the camera in a bad spot and I shouldn’t have added that clip. I’m still learning how to film and edit content and take this as a learning moment! Haha
Dude, I have the exact same truck and broke mine in the exact same place, also while changing the spark plugs. Thanks for making this video!
Super helpful. Mine snapped off while driving on a dirt road. Going to try and get this fixed myself. Thank you!
That exact thing happened to mine this morning
Literally me right now
Literally me right now. Heaven forbid I go over a bump in a parking lot... Let alone off-road. Ridiculous.
Thanks for taking the time to provide this information. It is quite charitable of you.
How do you get the hose off the firewall? What kind of fitting is it? Do you need a special tool to remove it off the fitting?
Thank god, this JUST HAPPENED TO ME. Thank you

Thanks for the video! Mine is leaking at the t-connector. This video is really helpful! Thanks again!
Same.
I noticed a small leak.
Might as well fix it before it's too late
Mine broke last night. Great video
Thank you. Mine broke right before a road trip
Did you still go

just cut of the fitting part and buy a T connector and straps worked for me
Just happened to me today
😢thanks
Great video. ya could see the back of your head an then ya showed it done. but not how to take hose that is a pain in the ass to take off.
I just cracked mine today!
Did you drain the coolant out of the radiator first?
Nope don’t have to, just disconnect the pipe if you need room which I did.
Mine just went out 350k miles id say it lasted good 9years ,
I’m having an incredibly hard time getting the one off at the firewall. How was it so easy for you? At this point I’m just trying to break it off
There’s two grey rectangle clips you have to push in with your fingers and pull at the same time it releases it. It’s very annoying
@@ShaneKoopzyea I just can’t get my fingers on them back there against the firewall. I’ll figure something out

Y por qué se calienta después de cambiarle esa manguera
good info but id rather not look at the back of your head the whole time
How much?
What Is the part call
Heater hose.
The same exact thing happened to me Shane! What are the chances! 🤠
The new hose cost me $110 at the Ford dealership. Those clamps do suck a little bit to get off since there isn't much room around them.
No reason to buy a new hose

1in PEX barb has 3/4 OD
clamps
Splice the hose as needed might have add short piece or may be not depending on the splice location
Don't know about the 2014 and prior, 2015 and up have a 3/4 hose and the fitting is 3/4
Info
Dorman 800-404 is a straight 3/4 push to 1/2 hose
Dorman 800-403 is a straight 1/2 push to 1/2 hose
You should of change them both.the other one is gonna break to
Would both of them be part #KH874?
I found this one as well but like you’re saying, if doing one, do both. it’s only ~$30 more for both.
Part number please
Hope this helps I had to reverse engineer the photos but this would be it for a 2017 f150 5.0 heater hose
Schon lange so ein schlechtes Video gesehen, wo ständig der Hinterkopf fokussiert wird und von der eigentlichen Arbeit nichts zusehen ist😂sorry😂
