  • Join Morten Bonde as he shares his powerful story of turning a life sentence of blindness into an opportunity for growth. As a skilled senior art director, Morten has faced numerous challenges in both his personal and professional life.
Despite his incurable eye disease that has caused him to slowly lose his sight, Morten refused to let his limitations define him. Instead, he uses mindfulness and meditation to reprogram his subconscious and overcome his greatest challenge.
In his talk Morten inspires us to see possibilities instead of limitations. Be inspired by his journey of positivity and learn how he decided to grow bigger than his blindness. What happens when a LEGO Senior Art Director sees things from a different perspective? Morten Bonde tackles a genetic disorder ‘Retinitis Pigmentosa’ that slowly changes the way he sees the world. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

I was diagnosed with RP 5 years ago. I'm 23 now and my vision lose is pretty serious. Desperately, I love cars but I can't drive it anymore. Thanks for your share, it's really inspiring, helpful and encouraging. You give me more power and courage to be confronted with my fate and fighting for my dream. I always want to make a difference somehow in this area and never give it up until I go totally blind.
