This guy is soo underrated...
So true
I agree he has very good videos
True
Like me?
I would have loved to see some more information about what consists of a "$700,000 telescope" and a brief overview of the process of "using" it.
Damon you put so much effort into your videos we apriciate it
Thank you! 😁🙏
Great video! Keep them coming!
Thank you, that's very kind! Will do 🤩👍

The ring galaxy at 3:05
I have just recently found your Channel, let you are BY FAR my favorite space channel I have found! Such good content! Looking forward to watching you continue to make great content!
Thank you, glad to hear it! 😁👍
These videos are way too underrated, but from what I’ve seen in the last few months since I have subscribed. Is that each and every subscriber is so grateful, appreciative and loyal. Love to see it.
In the past few months I've fell in love with astronomy and your videos are amazing man keep the good work up
Love your videos soo much 💖
I've been watching your videos since 2 years now, and you've been a major contributor to my interest for astronomy ever since
Thank you so much for the hard work and effort you put into your videos 😊
That's great to hear, thank you! 😊👏
Great work Damon! You have a really talent for making videos like this. 👏🏻😊
Thank you! 😊
Yet another fantastic video by Damon Scotting!
Cheers! 😁👍
Excellent, thanks and clear skies
Absolutely fascinating. Many thanks for a captivating post.
Subbed and can't wait to view your content..
Thank you!!
❤️
Those concentration of stars in the high resolution photo are spectacular in being able to make out each individual one. Its a challenge to self-visualize for example similarly being on a planet around one single of those singular stars. Especially when on earth stars seem so far away. Its hard to imagine that scale of immersion great work!
Keep up the good work👍
Space is a mystery....
Your videos are amazing, calm voice and informative presentation. Wishing you the best. 🥰
Thank you very much 😊👍
Absolutely amazing 🎉 Only your post allowed us to see what a “ Good” telescope can do! Thank You very much for one of the best constructed videos that I have ever seen. 😮
Thank you! 😁
Bro broo so Such an amazing and Detailed video... All love and respect ! Keep rising
Ahhh man ... I still remember days when you were near 20K and SEEEE my man you are near 100K.... Wish you all the best for the days that come to you ! All the very best
Thank you, Ayush! 😁👍
Fantastic!
Fantastic video Damon, the images showcased are absolutely breathtaking and really puts into perspective how small but unique we are in comparison to the rest of the universe, keep up the amazing work!
Thank you! 😁👍
Great video, glad to found your channel
I just stumbled across your channel and I am in awe of your passion and your willingness to share the glory of the night sky with us.
As a small child I was a wide eyed kid watching shows like Lost in Space when they where in space and I would look at the star studded background and dream. Star Trek as well.
You are a great presenter. Bravo.
i'm an new subscribers of your, who come from fb reels btw, love your effort man, your content are amazing, keep up the good work
*ps : sorry for my bad english
God ur photo of M81 and M82 is just gorgeous. M81 has to be one of the most beautiful galaxies we can see. Incredible!
Just finished watching your 2 year old video and I was going to suggest upgrading sound but I'm pleased to see that there has been a real uptrend in quality (content is top notch from the start). I would recommend using tripod on night shots to eliminate movement as much as you can so you could bring the ISO down a bit for better quality but I bet you already know that. I really liked the mosaic you made. The arms of the galaxy really give the impression of folds in space and seeing it like that really gives depth to the picture. I don't know if it would even be possible considering the size of everything but if you took the same pictures again a year from now would you be able to detect rotation movement? If yes then it would be cool to make a time lapse of the rotation of the galaxy.
Thanks mate. I'd love to do a cosmic time-lapse of different deep sky objects but as you've already hinted at, they don't move enough over such a short period. Supernova remnants though are a safer bet. I'm always on the look out for new objects to image and compare to older shots, so if you think of any that would be show a significant change, please let me know. Cheers 👍
@@DamonScotting I saw a video from Adam Block about Crab Nebula Epochs and that's where the idea came from. You could make your own version and throw in a new picture from webb if you don't want to wait for 20 years :D. I cant recommend anything else since I'm more of a armchair astronomer but I'm starting to learn again thanks to youtubers like you. Keep up the good work. Also big shoutout to Entire History Of Universe and SEA channels. You guys are doing the job that should be done by schools.
Here for it!❤
One of the best documentaries channel, by far!!!!!!!!
Thank you!
Amazing!!!
Great video, I love M81 / M82, through my 12 inch dob with a low power eyepiece, I can see both at one time, its beautiful
That does sound beautiful, thank you! 😊👍
Love these videos
felt the same thrill and intrigue watching these images as I felt fifty or so years ago first seeing for myself the moons of Jupiter, the rings of Saturn, the phases of Venus. Blows my mind how far the profession has grown today.
Amazing
Why are there tears in my eyes
Buthole galaxy ix my fav
Let's gooooo!!!
Did I miss it somewhere, or did you not share the model and/or specs of scope (Planewave?), mount and camera?
Interesting
"Butthole Galaxy" made me laugh so hard😂😂😂
Wonderful. What is that telescope?
hey damon can u drop thr link of bodes galaxy and cigar galaxy
Thanks! Clear sky’s….
Thank you very much! 😁👍
Hey Damon!
I have a question: What app or programm do I need for stacking pictures of planets/galxies/nebulae?
Some basic free ones - Autostakkert for planets, deep sky stacker for nebulae and galaxies. ASI studio is free and fairly easy to use for planets and deep sky. Also has the imaging software-the total package.
I wish I had that kind of telescope
How far apart are the dust particles in the pillars?
Hoags objects ring part could be a whole different galaxy behind the yellow galaxy since in the center of galaxies there is a black hole and they warp the light of objects behind them but you never know
how much does it cost to use a remote telescope?
If I looked through their eyepiece one of those expensive telescopes, can I see the beautiful vibrant colors of those deep sky objects? 🤔
Certainly not as vibrant. With a few of these nebula shots I imaged in narrowband, which is an alternative to Red, green and blue imaging filters that most closely replicate what we can see with our own eyes. Bottom line is, the telescope cameras in real time can replicate what we see with our naked eye, but we can't match what they can capture with long exposures that are also taken with narrowband filters.
IN YOUR OTHER VID YOU SED YOU WILL POINT A EXPENSIV TELESCOPE AT NOTHING
i love your video
What is the 700k telescope
Can you name this telescope
For 700k better be able to see the singularity.
Like
The only way to get this telescope if you ate a kid then be in a MrBeast video
Nice video but you forgot the most important object that you can see with a telescope , URANUS !
Nah, it's too small to see well.
@@AstronAndry It depends, sometimes it's too big, sometimes it's too small
What? My ANUS?!?
Couldn't you get access to a $7 Million telescope?
I put the like 666 🔥
He is dreamy
