Turns out it is a lot harder than it looks, but NOT impossible!😅 I'm going to be posting weekly from now until Christmas! So stay tuned and clear skies! 🤩👍
I think Doug George or one of his friends did it or try to. My skies suck here in Northeast Pennsylvania, due to the fires in Canada, it has not been clear since May 1
As a total novice with a 200 quid heritage dob 130, this blows my mind. And I can't wait for the next video damon. Myself and my 8 year old boy are on a journey of discovery together. And you are helping us more than you know.. Thanks pal.🤟
Not only did Hubble image for longer, but it has a much larger primary mirror that brings in more light. In order to get an equivalent image to HUDF, you'd have to image with that telescope for longer than HST did. Actually, if you look at the edges of this photo, you can tell the telescope wasn't exactly meant to take images for as long as you did.
Absolutely love your philosophy on the most important image of mankind. If we are just juged by an alien race one day according to our world press photo awards we would surely be in deep trouble.
I've wanted to try this for a while now, however i was looking for a video on someone doing this so I could see how it would go. I'm excited to see the next one.
It was gifted to me so I'm afraid I can't recommend a shop for you to purchase one from. All I can say is, it's one of my favourite gifts of all time 😅👍🏻
Hello damon I was wondering g what kind of set up you use on a daily basis. It would be much appreciated if you sent me links to all of them. Thank yiu😊
It's constantly varying depending on where I'm living or travelling. I was stuck in a top floor apartment with no balcony for the last year so I didn't have time for a big setup like I do now. My 2 favourites at the moment are a 3 inch Refractor telescope on a skywatcher Pro 2i and my 10 inch celestron Newt on a Cg5 Goto mount 👍🏻
Hi Damon, love your videos! What online tools do you use/ recommend for me to see where certain planets/stars will be during the night so I can photograph them?
The "illusive event that started it all" is stated in Genesis 1:1 - "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." 7:34 "None of us know for certain why we're here or what the universe has lying in store for us next." It's not meant to be such a mystery! Why are we here? To bring glory to the One who created these incredible wonders that leave us awestruck. Why are we here? To know this beautiful God and to make Him known.

Astro Photography is really Addictive and I just tweeted this so a lot of the Pro Astronomers I tweet with will see it.
But very expensive:0

You are so close to 100k subs!!
Someone's backkkkkk!!
Man, congrats on 100k subs, you deserve it with all that work you do in your vids.🎉
Fun one.
I also enjoy doing stuff out of the norm. Its hard for me to find objects that are new and exciting to me(In northern hemisphere anyway).
Can you use the same telescope on the pillars of creation, use Hubble pallet then do another comparison
8:15 where can i get that floating moon on your desk?

Absolutely astonishing!! Great video. Where did you get that moon globe by the way?
Thank you very much! It was a gift from a close friend! "Floating magnetic moon light" should bring it up on Google 🙂👍🏻

Yes they have done it before
Hey!
8:32 100 times Euler's number hours.
Oh buddy
! Your info is dated!🙂 Huble is old ! Now the new Kepler telescope with that huge mirorr is unreachable advanced and powerful!
Has Hubble taken a picture of us?
Same
Hello brother, i am back after long time.
Your video is always amazing like it was before.
Thank you, brother😁
I am saving money for my new telescope, 5750 pounds.
Wow, that's going to be an amazing telescope 🤩
Ok
next try using AI to create it.
But why aren't you telling us potentially what could be achieved in 11 days from Earth? No idea at all?
what a slop
