Love watching these before bed. Not that the videos makes me sleepy (far from it), they make fall in to a deep state of profound thinking and fascination. It’s like my basic day-to-day problems and worries doesn’t mean that much any more..😅 I appreciate your great work man! The edits are amazing on this one❤️
I know SEA probably won’t see this but I still just want to say how much I love his content it has helped me feel better because I love space but there is like nothing that I do regularly that involves space so these videos are just the best way for me to hear about the things I love. Thank you SEA for this great content. 🌌🌠
This was the best unintended birthday present I could have imagined. It was pure bliss throughout the entire 42 minutes of this video. Thank you so much for your hard work.
You still have to be a little careful because I do see some absolute BS on other channels. But guys like this who really care about knowledge are great. Absolutely as good or better than anything the big studios make. I just wish youtube could do something about these other weirdos. Humans go to space, you can watch satellites fly over your house or go to a launch. A conspiracy like that isn't possible because thousands of people can't keep a secret amongst about a million other reasons. Sorry about the tangent but youtube tried me with this 'space bloopers' video from a flat earther and reminded me that crazy people have internet too. SEA and the other guys that really love science are great though! Gives me hope, some people haven't lost their damn minds,...... as I'm yelling at my laptop like they can hear me.
@@allineedis1mike81I really do like SEA. David Butler is another great astronomy channel. He never copyrights his work and specifies that it is free to use in the classroom. You're right that there's a ton of BS if one doesn't use their critical thinking to differentiate.
The great thing too was all the Shuttle servicing missions to the HST. I remember the first one in 1993 where Hubble was restored to top function. Also, the veteran crew who launched Hubble said they were all very quiet once they reached HST's orbital altitude. The view of Earth 600 km below was one thing, but the view of the retrofire fuel gauges at just 48 percent was more ... commanding.
The hubble telescope is arguably the greatest piece of technology man has ever produced. The vast amount of underatanding that has come from hubble is unmatched by only mathematics, the wheel and fire. It is truly an advanced step in human learning, that deserves the respect and adoration that this homage video gives to it. If you enjoy knowledge and understanding, the hubble telescope deserves to ne revered for all its given to us, and continues to give. Thanks for giving it the adoration it deserves.
The amount of effort you put into these videos is insane! Please continue with making these informative videos since they keep my passion for space alive. You inspire many more than just me, remember that SEA❤️
I was so excited about this telescope when they were making it and it was so worth it. The images this thing produces are some of the most beautiful and mind blowing pictures I have every seen.
My favorite channel on any subject on all of RUclips. I watch RUclips instead of hopelessly bad, woke, cable or network TV. When I say the quality of your writing, research and production is the best on RUclips it’s coming from a RUclips addict. Second to none. THE best channel on RUclips!!!
nothing brightens up my day more than seeing a new upload from you 💕 i’ve watched all of your videos dozens of times at this point and seeing new content makes me giddy! :)
I love your videos so much. I rewatch them, i play them when I’m settling down for bed, i play them when I’m sad. Please keep them coming, i look forward to every one.
Yet another brilliantly put together astronomy documentary. The quality and content feels more of a big brand documentary. All this for free on RUclips.
I, like so many of your followers, marvel at how deep and informative your knowledge and research are. I am completely at ease when listening to your work. I am a speck who resides on another speck, and, as such, how can any human problem really be insurmountable? It seems the only things that are truly insurmountable are the likes of black holes and faster than or even half, light speed travel. And when I learn about the likes of such beasts, my mind boggles at the vastness and majesty of the universe. I enjoy drifting to your voice and knowledge, as I learn more and more about a universe that leaves me awestruck. Thank you.
I have watched all of your videos and each time I am surprised by the sheer effort that went into these videos. I really appreciate every minute you invest into these videos! Thank you :)
Hubble set the scene for some astonoshing discoveries, and Webb matched them within months of being operational. We're living in an incredibly exciting time for understanding the universe!
When the first deep field images came online I was dumbfounded. Galaxies are my favorite images and to find out that the universe is just slam packed with them was difficult for me to comprehend. Another fantastic presentation from the SEA team! I'd love to see more about many of those images. Great stuff!
what i like so much here is the calm and unemotional description of the unimaginable, indescribable. not this ridiculous comparisons (footballfieds, swimming pools), stupid excitements or pretend enthusiasm. the first channel ever i bought merch.
Fantastic content. Your videos helped me to re-find my passion in STEM when I started watching last year. Decided to go back to school and study computer science and physics. It's been a blast!
Please keep making videos SEA, I have red bars across nearly every single one of your videos from the last few years and this content is just toooo A++ to not continue my fascination with the vastness of space.
I was born in 1998, and I'm now almost 25. I've been into astronomy since I was like 4 or 5. Someday soon Hubble will have to be de-orbited and it'll be a very emotional day for me. Thanks for making this video to show us what it brought us ^^
First time I’ve considered the entirety of the Hubble mission and oh, what a mission it has been! To actually see such phenomena in the visible light spectrum, things we knew nothing of, things that had not even occurred to scientists and cosmologists - and seeing them in crystal clear resolution in multitudes of brilliant colors…it’s just amazing . The Hubble mission has been nothing short of a giant leap for mankind that transcends perception filters like religion and politics and leaves the observer to wonder what all this means. Especially since there has yet to be observed anything that indicates the presence of complex biological systems that might facilitate organisms that move around independently and contemplate things unrelated to the acquisition of their next meal. Everything we look at is completely hostile to human existence. Even our planet’s closest sibling, ironically named after the Roman Goddess of love, has surface temperatures significantly hotter than your kitchen oven, and an atmospheric pressure that would crush your skull and flatten your brain into a crêpe. Leave it to a line from a popular MGM movie released in 1939 to sum it all up: “there’s no place like home. “ - well put, Dorothy!
damn this channel has changed a ton since i last checked up on it like 4 years ago. nice job, sea, successfully flipping this channel into one with far greater potential while still keeping a solid viewer base.
damn, I didn't realize how much I had taken Hubble's incredible imagery for granted growing up. The mere fact that we sent several missions up to it to repair it is so cool
Strange. I felt kind of sad after the finishing remark. "Closes its eye for the final time". But what fantastic images Hubble has given us in its lifetime...
And thank you so much for your incredibly generous donation! Sorry it’s taken a while to come around to this, I usually respond to the super thanks in batches. I hope you continue to enjoy the channel and the content 🙏💙
