I know I already told you before, lol, but you have to read The Sugar Queen by Sarah Addison Allen! It is my comfort read, my copy is work out! But it is definitely a great read for the winter season! I love all her books!

Really enjoyed this. Garden Spells is top of my TBR. I don't know if you have experience with floor plants and cats but my cats view them as additional cat boxes! So be sure to pick up a small bag of river rocks or even gravel to put on top of the dirt. That works really well for me.

I gasped "Me!" when you mentioned me 😆 This vlog had the usual cozy vlog vibes, but the addition of reading cozy books on top of it was the cherry on top. I wholeheartedly agree that cozy is where it's at ❤ My boss recently recommended Killers of a Certain Age to me 🤔 And a successful ginger cake!!

🎍That looked like a bamboo plant-I loved mine for many years til it just sort of crashed. But they do last for years. Glad you enjoyed the AC book. Some stories are not quite as seasonal as you’d imagine with all 4 books in that set but all are still worth reading. I’m reading The Tainted Cup now. Still trying to get out of my slump. This may do it.

I've been struggling lately with my reads, but now i'm finally reading two books that are making my heart happy 🥰🥰One of them is Second Chance Pass by Robyn Carr, the fifth book in the Virgin River series. I have loved every book in the series and it's also very cosy and it just makes me smile. With the first book, you have to push through the beginning, but from the 100-ish page mark onward, the series becomes the most lovely thing

❤📚📚❤️ I love Sarah Addison Allen books! I read Garden Spells in 2017 and gave it a five-star rating. I then went on to read First Frost (4.5 stars), Lost Lake (another 5 stars), The Peach Keeper (4 stars), and The Sugar Queen (5 stars)!
I enjoyed this cozy cottage-core video curled up on my sofa with a blanket and coffee!
Edit: Yes, to a cozy new release vlog!! 😊❤
I have so many books on my physical book shelves because of Alice. She is missed. 😢

Great vlog and the ginger ale looks amazing. 🤤
I finished Empire of the Vampire and I really liked the book but just a little disappointed by the ending. I will read the next book empire of the damed but not yet. I am reading In Ascension.

I agree Flowerheart is very reminiscent of a Studio Ghibli film. I did like that book I just wish it had a bit more depth with the individual relationships. I find that with more plot-focused cozy fantasy books (not necessarily this one) if there are some stakes I need like a somewhat reasonable answer for how the problems are solved. I found that some of the ones I've been picking up lately have been disappointing me in that way. Like it'll have stakes but then it'll get out of them in just such a ridiculous way that it almost gives me whiplash lol and I'd rather just have no stakes at all. I would be on board for a Studio Ghibli book recommendations video. I love Studio Ghibli films and I have a little shelf with all the books that remind me of them and I'm always looking for more.

That makes sense. Sometimes it doesn't match up with what's actually happening.
