They are the most boring faction in the game unfortunately. You just need to stay in the forest and not attack anybody for some time, defeating rebellion after rebellion to farm gold and exp for Orion. When finally you farm around 100-200k gold (the more the better) you create giant army and defeat other elven factions around you. Then its pretty much gg. You wait and upgrade all settlements and when your ready you can leave the forest and create your empire. This faction requires patience and a loooooot of staying around, defeating rebellions etc. because for a long time you suck financially. Personally i do not recommend this faction, after completing the campaign on legendary it didnt feel like i achieved something. I think i only needed to fight manually maybe like 3 or 4 battles throughout the whole game.

Now Marienburg has 3 settlements and the last one is north of Gorsell, just below Wrecker's Point. This changes the way you play the campaign GREATLY. This is because once you capture the third settlement, and you need to in order to gain full control of the province and destroy Marienburg, you will have identified yourself to Norsca along the coastline. If you continue to play the campaign normally, before turn 10 Rakarth, Bjornling and the Red Duke will all declare war on you at the same time. Add to the fact that you are already at war with the World Walkers and the Greenskins, this becomes a massive problem as you are now boxed in and essentially pincered into your starting area. To avoid this, all you need to do is ask Rakarth to join your war against World Walkers after he has destroyed his starting area enemy (You need to include 1.4-2k gold with it). This will keep Rakarth and WW busy for a long while. Next, get a defensive alliance with Artoire and Bordeleaux ASAP. You should be able to get this by turn 7/8. This will prevent Red Duke from declaring war on you. You can't do much about Bjornling declaring war until you're ready to go up there and smash them but at least this method allows you to continue playing the campaign normally as per Legend's guide in the video above and it removes the 3 factions from joining up to gangbang you right at the start.

What do you think about playing the Lizardmen next?
Any chance you can do this type of series for other total war games?
Well, Bretonnia sure got screwed by map changes since this guide was made.
i have an advice, if you leave the marienbirg amrie with just 1 or 2 units, it will run to marienburg, just outside the walls, so you can get them to come out and fight them on a open field
Could we get a Cult of Sotek guide
Great stuff! I like Bretonnia so this will hep me when i play on normal difficulty....i suck!
You'll get there man. Just takes time
for your next 20 turn videos can you do a Warhammer 2 faction for those of us that don't own the 1st one?
Do you have a guide for Eltharion?
