I worked here in my time. Nights on BX-29 and days on BX-20. Are Georgia-Pacific, Sun Chemical. Chrysler, a food container manufacturer next to fhe main line still there? Subway cars for the red line were assembled across the street from Georgia-Pac. Zayre and Toys r Us were there too. Service across 495 did not start until the late 1970s. With trailer trains going to Westborough (really just up 495) I find it hard to think a recovery here is plausible.
Maybe the potential customer. Who owns that warehouse that has the railroad spur next to it. Contacts the owner of the the railroad tracks. Say can when you revive the line so I can get more shipments out. Because that's would I'd be looking at
Well- as we saw with Myles Standish rail replacement there is still hope that rail can be restored . The biggest issue is there is a high vacancy rate in the Mansfield park so maybe some businesses needing rail support will move in
95 and 495 right there. Trailers may go by rail but trucks will deliver them. I was told in the 1970s that trailers will be the major share of railroad freight transportation. Amazon, Fed Ex, UPS, Hunt et al.bear that out.
Further the New Haven served the only Cabot station in Newton Upper Falls. I fail to recall this ever being titled a Cabot, Cabot and Forbes real estate property.

Does CSX still visit out here on any of these spurs? Or is the whole industrial track abandoned?
CSX still has 2 customers in this park
It's a shame because they'll learn when they go to sell and oops NO rail access. I'd at least leave the infrastructure there.
Thanks for watching
