So unique and perhaps one of the best performances, in my opinion, in the past 12 years. One of my favorate pieces of music and everyday, I do watch and listen to at least 2 performances by different conductors and/or orchestras. Very nice, add a drum kit beginning with the normal battery, move to a jazz beat, up to rock, over heavy rock, metal, Black Matel, Death and ending with Technical Death drum. That would make it a lot more vivid ... .
well layering using a timbrally similar instrument each time seems to miss the point of this work...i would have preferred the mallet instruments to have been prepared in some way to accentuate variety...after all that is what provides a lot of the satisfaction in the original, but of course its well played

The crispness and synchronization is very impressive...to have that many marimbas playing in unison requires incredible musical discipline.
