We weekly wash our 2 cats chins, check them.
    Daily wash the dishes.
We have elevated dishes so the don’t rub chins into the food.
At one time before, one of our other cats had the acne, we used some baby shampoo and warm water washcloth to clean.

I thought ceramic was alright. I had to get a ceramic bowl for water because my youngest cat as a kitten would move the water bowl while she was playing in it so got something heavier r that she couldn't move. Is glass ok because my mom has her cat's water in a sturdy glass dish. Learn something new everyday.

No not thank you, you should NEVER shave your cats chin like that. Use a soft clean tooth brush with antiseptic and switch from plastic bowls to ceramic or stainless. The reason they keep coming back is bc she is shaving it and the oils on his skin have no where to go (hair absorbs oil) and it clogs his pores.

That's definitely feline acne, my cat has vet diagnosed feline acne, which is exactly the same as this cat, its only on the under side of the chin too flea dirt is everywhere, also the vet told me the way to tell is to get a wet paper towel put some dirt on the towel and rub it around if it streak red it's flea dirt if it says black/brown it feline acne
