I agree. This is a step in the right direction. What I want for my home is a central digital receiver pre-amp with 10 analog and digital inputs and 10 analog outputs and a similar phone app control.

How do you operate the DAX 88 in a new home with no Internet yet? Need to connect the Matrio app on Android phone directly to the DAX with no router.

but it's needed to wire all the loudspeakers in the home to a single device (amp) located in one place in the home? who really want to wire the full home to a single device? why no individual modules all near each loudspeaker but all connected to a same network with same features when controlled through an app as Matrio?

I use mainly spotify for my music source, is there a way to increase the number of wifii input? so that multiple people can play different music at the same time in different zones?

You could use a network/bluetooth audio player at each input you want. At that point you may be better off getting a bunch of Sonos amps or something though for single app control.
Another option is the Juke audio amp. It has 4 embedded Wi-Fi streamers but no hard inputs. Less flexible but may fit you needs.

this is a rehash of whole house systems we were doing 20 years ago... this is ok if you have preexisting wiring in your home but why even wire a home when you can have dedicated wireless players for a fraction of the price, nice but we see a limited market for this

Fully disagree... I am waiting this solution all in one (Streamer + Controller + Amp +...) since 20 years... On top of that, sorry to say but nothing si better than wire system. I will pre-order one unit to try it. If it's works as advertised, I will need at least 5 of them.

@@borissefr Does work well. And zones 7 & 8 can preamp output to suwoofer amp letting you control those speakers independently from the app.
