Thank you. This is very interesting and helpful. I was intrigued by power supplies but thanks to your demo I see now it's probably the last thing I would upgrade as I am quite happy with the SQ of the standard power supply FWIW :)
If you don't have money to burn and want a versatile Linear Power Supply check out the KECES P3, I 've been real happy with mine. My only complaint is it runs a bit warm. Cheers!
For comparison like this, you need to play the exact same part of the song with different power supplies. The louder passages will *seem* to sound better obviously.
Well done, thank you! I could clearly hear a difference, even through my working Headphones (Poly BT700). The stock PS is "ok'ish" but seems to be very flat in terms of soundstage (even if there is no real soundstage on this headphone). Liked the Plixier the most, but hey, from the price of an Plixier and an Primo i could buy a used Linn Akurate DS, and i dont think that is too bad in comparison).
All are better then the stock one but otherwise hard to tell. Pura was kind of more natural. Might be too much work but playing the same 12sec or so music segment sequentially may make it easier
Just had another listen. I like a lively sound so sbooster caught my ears but possibly more fatiguing so Plixir would be my choice based on this listening
Super interesting stuff done by AA, tx! FYI, at home in my system the differences on a project streaming bridge (streambox ultra s2) between stock smpsu, attached ifi dc purifier, sbooster, sbooster with ifi dc purifier, added excellent furutech power cable and padis fuse, added sbooster ultra (an advanced L/C circuit) are VERY easy to distinguish, so that the differences between PSUs tested here by AA *might* be alot bigger and more impressive in reality
Am I wrong to like the Plixir Statement more than others? Might be placebo, might be certain parts of the song that differs but the Plixir does it for me in this particular demo.
@@AbsoluteFidelity why? We cannot measure 'musicality'. But if you want to see measurements... We have made some. Tomorrow the Dutch review will be online. On Friday the English version.
@@TheAlphaAudio yes, we cannot measure musicality but the definition of musicality differs from person to person, affirming your point. But with such a mindset, a certain equipment might be 'musical' to a certain track but not another. Thats 'musicality' as Ive experienced first hand. All I personally want is for it to be as accurate as possible, if the track is not 'musical', so be it, and if the track is 'musical' to my preference of course, then great! Hoping for coloured equipments to bring musicality is like playing the lottery. Thank you so much for supplying objective data, as I treasure both equally. Ill have a look on Friday.
My ears pricked up when i heard the Plixir in the first song. Do you have the Chord shawline dc cable made specially for the Plixir? I found that they added more dynamic and detail, crazy stuff!! Great demo as usual 🙂
Ben diverse sample tests en live streams aan het bingewatchen. In deze test dus powersupplies. Vraagje: welk apparaat wordt voorzien van de power supply?
Because whatever your system consists of, it's simply not revealing enough. This means that you have a first challenge clearly lighting a path ahead of you! Get ready for a very enjoyable journey, albeit an expensive one! Cheers.

Happy to help!
Farad sounded like the stock power supply..... wow haha. Plixir is on another level

Having this set up in your listening space or mine, will change the sound far more than a $20,000 cable or $30,000 piece of kit!!!

Great video. Easy to her The difference between the PSU’s. My Clear favorit is Farad 🤓👍

Farad for me, Plixir second. Thanks for the review.

It is mainly imaging and calmness / control. And yes....the differences are very big.
Farad Super10 seems way ahead of the others. seems to add an Open Rich texture to the vocals.

True, my favorite as well
You like what you like... simple as that!
@@TheAlphaAudio Its not as simple as that for me, unfortunately. Objective measurements and subjective listening has to go hand in hand.

Hello, got to much distracted by the " music "
In the end... music is what matters.

We used stock cables for all power supplies.
if you hear a difference the audio component is at fault, the provided PSU is bad.
thank you, what is the difference between power supply and power conditioner?
A power conditioner cleans power. A power supply delivers power itself.
Will there be another speaker comparison video in the future?
Of course! :-)
Ben diverse sample tests en live streams aan het bingewatchen. In deze test dus powersupplies. Vraagje: welk apparaat wordt voorzien van de power supply?
De streamer.
Thought i could hear very subtle differences. I noticed the Innuos Streamer. Have you done any presentation on it? Beautiful speakers!!
Thanks. The Innuos is a review unit. Working on it now.
All of these sounded the same on my system. Why was that?
I don't know.

Please do a recorder comparison, phone v field recorder v interface etc🙏
I am not sure we are the platform for that. Although I like studio stuff... A lot.
@@TheAlphaAudio ya it would be more about what value system videos offer and how to get the most representative sound.
@@REX4340 Ow. That perspective. We could do that.
