Additionally - TFL does not take responsibility for their staff's strikes and the same does not refund travel cards to commuters in relation to the policy: "We do not give refunds for delays outside our control, including: Strikes. Security alerts. Bad weather". How it is simple: take money, do not provide the service and no refund - it's called SCAM.

Surely with today’s technology and very brainy people, why don’t they do it the easy way with the cameras. They are electronic and run via a. Computer don’t they.They have to be run through soft wear or hard drive through a computer . There is the answer the main computer .

Something else to consider is, how these cams are electrically grounded thru or isolated from the pole. Would an electrical arc handheld stunning device be an effective EMP, or overload bricking method? There is instructions on how to make them from untraceable components online ; )

perhaps people (with no car) who have deliveries in the ULEZ zone need to pay a levy of £12.50 for each delivery. I'd guess a lot of them would change their tune then?
But it does affect them. It affects everyone, because the hike in transport costs for delivery drivers will be added to the prices of food and other goods, so we'll all end up paying in the end.😞

"not a cash grab" he says yet in three years if you had to pay the maximum of roughly £3k a year you'd nearly have the money for a newer and 'cleaner' car. It's a ridiculous scheme that accomplishes nothing but sticking it to the people who can least afford it (like usual), whilst also raising prices for deliveries and other goods.

If you have an old car that is regularly serviced and well looked after which passes an annual MOT why would it need to be scrapped? Or is the MOT going to be scrapped?

Someone pointed out on another channel. Speaking about the MOT, the so called scrappage scheme states that your to be scrapped car HAS to have a valid MOT. There's something very shady with that. Are tfl selling these so called polluting car's on? You don't usually need an MOT to scrap a vehicle (because it's going to be scrapped!)

People are missing th point. Its not about the pollution. Over time the polluting cars will all be off the road and so the cameras will not be needed. However, there will be a network of cameras to be used for restricting freedom of movement and control. THAT is the goal.

I saw a study showing the undergroumd was far more polluted than above above ground which if his scheme is a public health issue and not a cash grab then shouldnt he be warning people off using the underground? It wont make any difference to publoc health because most people are still going to drive, it just means they are going to be worse off

I've spoken to many contractors who are not going to change their vans and charge anyone in the Ulez the money... That means everyone in London will end up paying.

How does paying the charge stop pollution?
If it is all about air quality then can Khan commit to not change the rules once the number of non compliant cars falls so low that revenue from ULEZ becomes insignificant? Surely the air quality will be good enough by then.

Give this latest money grifting scheme another couple of weeks, and the outrage will be forgotten about. Like diesel and petrol charges, energy costs and food pricing, people moan for a while and then move on to complain about whatever the latest money grabbing ploy emerges. The increases become the norm. The increases rarely fall back to normal levels. Government and Corporations don't give a rats-ar*e about consumers.

I would imagine that Sadiq Khan has done a 'Rishi Sunak'. He or his wife probably have shares in the companies operating the ULEZ tax and that is why he has done this- it works for Sunak and he always gets away with his dodgy dealings.
