I grew up in West Central. My home was torn down to make way for GE parking garage. You are correct. Some of the greatest architecture I've seen anywhere in the Midwest is found in Ft Wayne.

That’s one of the beauties about Fort Wayne. City proper isn’t surrounded by miles of suburbs. 30 minutes from downtown and you’re in the country and away from 275,000 people. A little further and you have all the lakes in reach.
NO not everyone loves living in Fort Wayne. That is why they can't get Dr's to move here, Parkview Derms closed down cause of no Dr's. It takes months to get into a Dr. I have to drive long ways to get anywhere, nothing is close to me. Even driving, nothing is close to me. I would advise not to more here I absolutely hate living here. There is nothing to offer me and I can't wait until home prices and interest rates go down, then I am out of here
I'm guessing this wouldn't be an issue if Parkview offered more money to those specialists than what they received elsewhere. Not every doctor wants to live in NYC or LA.
@@Travisb238 it’s been awhile since I watched this but I can see the confusion. We didn’t say “This video is about X,Y, and Z” It was supposed to be about things people like about Fort Wayne and areas that people enjoy. For those people looking to move here
