WOW...What a powerhouse of an episode, thanks for bringing us along! I wish the local stone masonry school would volunteer its students to tuck point some of these structures to ensure their continued well-being.
As part of a Historical Commission, we have been spraying and cleaning graves. D2 a biological cleans the stone. Some we gently remove lichen. I keep looking and trying to decide about cleaning. We are working to restore this cemetery to remember the founding father, and mother s of our community
Wow! You two find more remains than ever I did on archaeological digs. I appreciate all the care and dignity you show to those who have passed. Cee from the little haunted cottage in ireland 💚💚💚🍀🍀🍀
Incredible visit! This walk really highlights the splendor of the Victorian era and their respect for their departed. Thanks GV, I always enjoy your visits.
Tiny houses are the big thing in New Zealand at the moment…some of those vaults would be around the same size. Imagine the cost of building one of those in todays times. Do you think some of those huge monuments were erected to show that the family had wealth…kind of a prestige type of thing. Appreciate you showing us around. Take care.
This was a great cemetery tour!! I was waiting for it and am not disappointed 👏🏻👍🏻. You could spend a week in there. Fantastic. Thanks so much💕. ( I must add that at one point Sue was ahead of you at the end of that row of “ house type” mausoleums and I yelled OMG a ghost😂. Thanks Sue😂💕)
This was spectacular in every respect - the light, the clouds, the masonry, the monuments, and your wonderful presentation style. What an experience. Thank you, GV.
Very cool. The entire cemetery walk was great. Looks like you’re still kind of warm there. Guess can’t expect much from caskets that old, but it is kind of sad it ends up that way one day. ❤
This was a fantastic video. OMG this is so fascinating. So much to see at once. I saw that there are a lot of comments with names I don't recognize. That is great. You are growing 💗💗💗
enjoyed the tour, stunning grave sites, here, eastern Canada, it's only the oldest graves that have headstones anymore, just plaques on the ground now, required by the cemeteries for easy mowing
Amazing and beautiful cemetery. I doubt we’ll ever see vaults and mausoleums like those of the past anymore and land isn’t available for them either which is sad. These cemeteries are a glimpse into the past which I find fascinating and valuable. 👍👍👍. Many thanks
WOW😮....what a cemetery. I so enjoyed your walk and sharing this video with us. I could turn a couple of years older walking it myself😅😅. I wish. God bless to you and Sue.❤😊❤😊
I subscribed to your channel yesterday and have watched several of your videos today. I have noticed a "buzzing" noise off and on in your videos. I'm an empath and feel someone is trying to communicate with you in their own way. I think you stir their spirit somehow.
Brilliantly done . Frightened the cr"p out of me when I thought the skeleton moved but it was your shadow haha . Thank you for taking us along with you I wonder if the bell rings in the quiet of the night ? Really amazing footage .x
THAT ONE MONUMENT LOOK TO BE OF A LION. NOT. A DRAGON. EITHER WAY SOME OF THE MONUMENT ARE A SIGHT. TO BEHOLD. THANK YOU FOR POSTING SUCH AWESOME VIDEOS. JERRY FROM ARKANSAS. YOU TWO ARE AWESOME. AGAIN THAT YOU FOR THE GREAT VIDEOS .
I do enjoy watching your videos, and the history, have you thought about getting a drain camera so you an access these tombs without the difficulty you clearly have getting good shots inside?
Wow that's crazy just like what you just said GV it's sad to see them like that hope they are resting in peace 💐🙏 wow that's interesting with that chain bless them lovely video GV take care 👍
It was common especially in Victorian days to have a bell or some sort of contact with the diseased as not a lot was known about comatose conditions which can mimic death so mostly well off people would pay for someone to check on the grave shortly after burial as a precaution .
I have not received a notification in it seems months. I came here and my subscription had been removed. Anyway, I'm back and doing some catching up. Love from Alabama, USA
That's a neat design for a crypt. Wow what a neat vault with the bell. Over time I wonder how many bells did ring back then of people that was buried alive. If that bell was to ring with y'all standing there what would you do? 😂 😯that skull door! That's neat! That almost looks like a bath tub lol. 😂 ❤ y'all thought so too. Great video GV n Sue. ❤ a lot of amazing history here.
I believe this kinda work is noble, remember I those that are forgotten. Each had a unique story. I also believe this content is extremely important for the datafication of everything. Are they still burying in the area?
Take photo, D2, light spray, walk away. Come back in 30days repeat

What a beautiful cemetery! So very interesting to see . Thank you for taking us on this special trip.
Just fascinating. I have heard of people devising "rescue" bells for being buried alive, but that is the first time I have seen one!

wonder would they still have keys for all the old doors
Good question Derek. I'd imagine all the family members are deceased now. They would have held the key
Thank you. 👍

Don't like drain cameras o
Picture quality not the same. I like using phone. I've gotten great footage in previous videos without it
@@GraveVisitations oh you most definitely have! I think you do amazing considering. No hate meant dude, just a suggestion ☺️
@@Unangelic73 none taken 👍😁
Amazing thanks for your vlogs
The term "dead ringer" was coined because of this technique used as way of alarming the grounds keeper of a premature burial.
A real dead ringer for love ha

At 32:07 you are looking into the crypt and there are terrifying growls. It startled me.
Another cemetery I REALLY REALLY have to visit.
Well worth the visit amazing victorian funerary monuments
There is an old victorian story called the fall of the house of usher and the subject of fear of being buried alive was mentioned.
What is the wooden coffin carrier called?
A bier
Amazing!!!
Great find 💀
good stuff Cathal....🙌
Cheers mate
Great!!!
Wow when you zoomed in on the skeleton!
Crazy isn't it
@GraveVisitations yh I certainly wasn't expecting that! Love your vids! Warmest regards to you and Sue from Stuttgart, Germany 🇩🇪
Just curious, when there are skeletal remains in these vaults, is there a stench or odor?
Your videos are so interesting and informative!
Hi Kathleen didn't get any smell from this one

@@GraveVisitations I hope you're one of those folks that can work to make it happen. Good luck and keep up the great work! Thank you!
Even if she was buried alive nobody might be around to hear the bell and alert someone.
Hi friend! 👋😷
Where is Dublin?
Thanks!
Yet another one im seeing for the first time😮
I buried my first wife in that cemetary in 1929. Miss her so much..
Nice these are awsome videos, you need a snake camera to get right in there
Thanks I have one but these vaults were open enough to see. 😁
Many Lawyers and Judges
Love this!
Where there any people while you're visiting??? I've seen someone dressed in white at 4:25
Not sure maybe visiting family graves
@@GraveVisitations I kept seeing people walking pass the church in the distance...
I always wonder if someone is buried inside of the stone “bathtub” and casket shaped things that are high up on the vaults/monuments.
No they aren't 😁
Who listens to bells ringing in cemetaries these days i hope she has her cell phone good cell service and do not drop the call either.
😂😂
Love ur vids ❤
Thanks Shawn
Wow almighty all the vaults wow
Ha!! Right as you were talking about the bell the bell at the Catholic Church next to my house started ringing. 😂😂
Cool 😂
