The biggest issue people seem to have with her is how Lanolin can't seem to turn off being like a cop and rules type. I like this it feels like it'd be healthy for the both of them.

I like her when she is doing her job, idk why the writers did her so bad when she didn't know that Silver not trying to hurt and didn't believe Sonic, Amy and Tails what happen in the race.

They made everyone look kind of dumb, but lanolin is less developed and still kind of fresh. Worse yet, she’s a team leader, so her involvement in the brain rot was always gonna be the worst of it.
@alexkuntmm7201 I see that. Right now, in canon, she's driven by logical tunnel vision. Here's hoping that after her character arc humbles her a bit, and she learns to trust her friends more, she acts more like she does here.
I like to personally think Rouge and Sonic would approach them differently, Rouge would like to meet up with Lanolin and ask about her and Shadow, while Lanolin would simply reply that whatever her relationship with Shadow is private and completely professional despite evidence to the contrary. Sonic in the mean time comes up to Shadow to ask about him and Lanolin and Shadow just tells him no before Sonic could even finish his sentence

I'm more a fan of Shadow being a coffee guy/expert from his days on the Ark but this is fantastic. It makes me wish coffee tasted as good as it smells for me. Sadly no coffee has yet to taste good or even different between each other for me. I think my taste buds are broken.
