@justynhill4814 Well that just gave me an idea. Since Infinite can bend reality and create fake copies of someone, what if he uses that as a method for mental torture. Let’s say for example Infinite create a copy of Tails. He can hurt and beat “Tails” in front Sonic while he’s locked up. Just imagine how weak Sonic would feel hearing his little brother cry and beg for him to save him while he’s unable to move or get near him. Now that would mess Sonic up.
@EmceeVoices I had the idea of how to make your rendition of Metal Sonic stand out. While Ryan Drummond is more on the mechanical side while Ray Chase is more on the monstrous side, I feel like you should make Metal Sonic sound like Hal9000. Just a completely serene, almost peaceful sounding and ruthlessly calculating voice can make him sound 100x more terrifying. “I’m sorry Robotnik, I’m afraid I cannot do that.”
I really liked Star Light Zone, when I first listened to it my heart sank into my heels, it's just a wonderful voice acting. That's why I love Sonic. (google trans.)
I'M LITERALLY CRYING I imagine that during those 6 months, Sonic felt so alone and scared and NUMB. He always tried his best not to cry, but sometimes,the tears would uncomfortably slip (2:07). He was YEARNING to be held in his friends arms once again. I imagine that he would constantly sing tunes that reminded him of his friends, even that stupid "unlike Sonic I don't chuckle" line. Anything to get rid of that aching loneliness in his heart. I imagine that the second Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy got into private, the 3 friends hugged the star they'd been missing for so long and SOBBED SO HARD THEY COULDN'T CRY ANYMORE, and for the first time in what felt like forever, Sonic comfortably cried as he clinged onto his best friends. And I also imagine that Sonic wasn't the only DreamKAST member who sang songs. Tails, Knuckles, and Amy would sing to. Amy often sang Cosmic Eternity and Sonic Boom. Knuckles would often sing Open Your Heart and Knight of the Wind. Tails would often sing It Doesn't Matter and Reach for the Stars. And all 4 would always have His World and Fist Bump buzzing in the back of their heads, because Tails, Knuckles, Amy wanted to see their star again, and Sonic wanted to see his baby brother, battle buddy, and best friend.
You know, this could've been a great approach to the "Torturing Sonic for 6 Months" thing, allot of people who make fan interpretation portrayed Eggman was as the tormentor when in reality he's never stooped that low even in the Adventure Era (If you're not counting the Archie Comics and all), Infinite is a good candidate but they stated it was Eggman so this was clever. Instead of ACTUALLY torturing Sonic directly, the 6 months Sonic's spent being in prison, laying on the cement that's meant to be his bed, is what tortured him and placed a strain on his mental health
ChaosRice gets it, and im glad to see someone finally does. But the worst part is when you forget a line of the song, and theres no way you can find out what it is again. And with that part sharply interrupting your song, other things start to slip. You remember less and less of the song, that line, what it was called and so on and one day you find you don't remember it at all. Then, even when your'e free one day you won't be able to find it. This happened to me. I still haven't found the song.

This made me cry!!! 😭😭😭 I always imagined those 6 months were agonizing for the poor guy. I mean, Sonic is really good at coping with things and is always quick to bounce back, but even he has moments of weakness like anyone else. The way you caught that emotional spiral, how he fought to stay optimistic and hopeful despite the circumstances was truly incredible! I loved Infinite's PSA and blooper at the end, it really gave me the closure I needed. 🥲
If i had a nickel for every time i found something on yt relating to the fic i just read i'd have 2 nickels. Which isn't alot but it's weird that it happened twice
