Hi same here, I failed sa engoo pero I did my demo sa NT twice kasi I failed on my first time. Do not hesitate! They will allow you to retake naman. It's better if magdemo ka na, so that if ever you'll fail on the first try, alam mo na where to improve. The admin will give a feedback. You can do it teach!

Tip for the demo teach, use the chatbox efficiently and by that, I mean whenever the admin answers, itype nyo po yung answer nya. I kinda want to share my (somewhat embarrassing) experience with NC. The interviewer (a woman) who pretended to be a student during my demo class was really unpleasant. Granted, I was fresh out of college back then, had no experience working as teacher - that was supposed to be my first job - and I have anxiety issues. All of that probably contributed to the experience being more negative than it should have. This one acquaintance told me that the woman who interviewed him seemed quite bored during the whole demo class, but that he passed on first try. So, I thought I was prepared and I'm not sure if we had the same interviewer, but this woman that interviewed me... She was sighing like she was annoyed even before I started the demo. When I asked her to repeat something, she was like "Yes, TEACHER." while emphasize the "teacher" and saying it in such tone that it seriously felt like she's either mocking me or is utterly annoyed with me. Again, I have anxiety issues (plus I was inexperienced back then), so all of this made me start to panic. I remember trying to figure out what I was doing wrong, and then in the middle of demo I just wished it would end so I could run away. I think I had a mental block there, because I can't for the love of god remember what she asked me. I think she actually noticed how I freaked out, because we ended the demo and she spoke to me in a softer tone, saying I should retake the demo later. And I said "Thank you, thank you" (I sh*t you not XD I was repeatedly thanking her) and "goodbye" (then I broke out crying the moment I turned off the camera). I pretty much gave up on being a teacher back then (I never retook the demo at NC), thinking it's impossible due to my severe anxiety, but a while later, a friend ended up introducing me to one Japanese company (it's a much smaller online teaching company, and currently there are only 3 English teachers, including myself). And I'm doing just fine right now. I have all the praises for NC, seriously, and a girl who interviewed me and did system check with me before the demo class was really nice, the whole process was smooth, the English test wasn't difficult to pass... Just the demo-class-woman XD I guess I'd be more prepared for it now. I haven't seen anyone on the internet saying that the person they did demo lesson with at NC was unpleasant (my acquaintance did say that his interviewer seemed "bored" but that's it). I wonder whether people online are deliberately avoiding to mention these kind of experiences or is it just that I had a really bad luck back then. In any case, I hope sharing this would help the people out there who are like me (a bit too anxious) to be more prepared. If your interviewer starts sighing loudly before you even say a single word, just don't think you are doing anything wrong. The acquaintance I mentioned told me he just ignored her and continued the demo class calmly, even though he was sure (judging by her reaction) that he won't pass. But he passed. While I, unfortunately, panicked and I wasn't able to think clearly. Good luck everyone!
Hi! Native Camp indicated that for Filipino applicants, a minimum of 6 months of ESL work experience is required. By any chance, do you have an idea if they are strict with this requirement? Wanted to apply sana but have zero experience :(
Aww yes they do require that. And they're quite strict because they do not have in-house training, pretty much everything's self study. I suggest apply in Engoo, Rarejob or Weblio.

For system check na ako Teach. Still not doing it yet because I still have plotted until next week here in Acadsoc. And sad news, I am one of those teachers na hindi nakatanggap ng salary. Praying na ibigay nila sa Sept 1. They promised to prioritized us pero di ako nag eexpect. Thank you for this video.
You can still do the system check, baka maunahan ka and magfreeze hiring teacha. Pinagsabay ko si Acadsoc and NC for a few weeks kasi hindi ka naman agad makakapagstart dahil madami pang aasikasuhin and aaralin. Para lang din makapagsimula ka na :)

Hi Teacha Karen! I'm a college student and I am very passionate to teach and earn at the same time. I'm curious if college students are qualified to apply in NC.
Yes there is an ESL company that ask a lot of "beauty pageant" questions but based on my experience the pay wasn't that good , not to mention that I wasn't paid on my first month because they were asking for my bank statement so I sent them a screenshot of my online statement since I don't have hard copies and they rejected my payment method though they could easily verify and it's already evident that I do have an acct w/ my bank. Major DUH?! The only con I see with NC is the dingdong alert that startled me and made me start my demo lesson too nervous. LOL but then gain I know I 'll get used to it if ever. . Fingers crossed.

I’m thinking bad in advance teacher because I applied two times in 51 talk but sad to say my first applied is bad because I wasn’t able to proceed after my PSO and my 2nd applied since I don’t know the new process of 51 talks I failed to pass interview though I wasn’t asked by the interviewer it’s just that I read the passage then she’s strict. Hopefully, this NC when I apply I will pass my application.

Yes I did, got so excited and waited on queue the next day! Please don't forget, patience is key... Some teachas wait 2-5 hours for the recruiter/interviewer. This is due to the influx of applicants due to the issue in China

However, if you have another nationality, we will consider changing your nationality which is not regarded as Native teachers in NativeCamp. After you decide to change to another nationality, we will activate your account.
To be direct, they say that you do not qualify to be paid as a native speaker due to lack of teaching skills. If you wish to teach at Native Camp, that would be possible but they will only pay you the same amount they pay us non-natives. which is like 80% less

I have been considering Native Camp but as a South African is it worthwhile currency wise because they pay in PHP and to a bank in Philippines BPI. I looked at what 80 pesos to the rand is and its like R25.77 which is tinier than peanuts. I love your videos and positivity towards Native Camp and I love everything about them but financially is it worth my while. Please share some positive light on this, Karen

It's been a month waiting for the staff to appear for camera check but no one has been appeared yet, I'm using google chrome but the system is kicking me out over and over, I don't know what's going on!
It could have been a problem with your browser, had the same issue. I uninstalled my camera software and cleared cache and refreshed the browser. It worked fine afterwards :) Try to troubleshoot on your end, I'm sure you can fix that
actually, I didn't search or review about native camp on the internet. I just passed my resume in the office with orientation. And started after a week while waiting for my activation of account. sikat pala siya hihihi.
I am using the Jabra evolve 20... honestly, there is no headset that can completely eliminate the noise. Have you tried a noise-cancelling app? like Krisp? You can also buy the high-end noise cancelling headset around php5000-8000
How many days/weeks did you accomplished everything until you become a native camp teacher po? And how about the salary mam? Where do they send your salary? ATM Po ba? Just askin' po mam. Planning to apply for an ESL company din.hehe

Aww yes they do require that. And they're quite strict because they do not have in-house training, pretty much everything's self study. I suggest apply in Engoo, Rarejob or Weblio.

For system check na ako Teach. Still not doing it yet because I still have plotted until next week here in Acadsoc. And sad news, I am one of those teachers na hindi nakatanggap ng salary. Praying na ibigay nila sa Sept 1. They promised to prioritized us pero di ako nag eexpect. Thank you for this video.
You can still do the system check, baka maunahan ka and magfreeze hiring teacha. Pinagsabay ko si Acadsoc and NC for a few weeks kasi hindi ka naman agad makakapagstart dahil madami pang aasikasuhin and aaralin. Para lang din makapagsimula ka na :)

They say I need to apply Just follow the steps. So now I'm watching videos to get a gist of the whole native camp dash board and so on .

i passed my demo lesson, now Native Camp is requesting my Passport for verification before they activate my account, but my passport expired. Why don't they accept Identifications Card for South African Teachers?

Yes there is an ESL company that ask a lot of "beauty pageant" questions but based on my experience the pay wasn't that good , not to mention that I wasn't paid on my first month because they were asking for my bank statement so I sent them a screenshot of my online statement since I don't have hard copies and they rejected my payment method though they could easily verify and it's already evident that I do have an acct w/ my bank. Major DUH?! The only con I see with NC is the dingdong alert that startled me and made me start my demo lesson too nervous. LOL but then gain I know I 'll get used to it if ever. . Fingers crossed.

Hi, what do you mean not to use a mini-cam? I bought an external cam seeing that it is sharper and brighter in contrast to the inbuilt camera.
You external cam it's ok :) It's Manycam, a camera application that allows you to add camera effect to your webcam

I’m thinking bad in advance teacher because I applied two times in 51 talk but sad to say my first applied is bad because I wasn’t able to proceed after my PSO and my 2nd applied since I don’t know the new process of 51 talks I failed to pass interview though I wasn’t asked by the interviewer it’s just that I read the passage then she’s strict. Hopefully, this NC when I apply I will pass my application.

Yes I did, got so excited and waited on queue the next day! Please don't forget, patience is key... Some teachas wait 2-5 hours for the recruiter/interviewer. This is due to the influx of applicants due to the issue in China

After you decide to change to another nationality, we will activate your account.
To be direct, they say that you do not qualify to be paid as a native speaker due to lack of teaching skills. If you wish to teach at Native Camp, that would be possible but they will only pay you the same amount they pay us non-natives. which is like 80% less

I have been considering Native Camp but as a South African is it worthwhile currency wise because they pay in PHP and to a bank in Philippines BPI. I looked at what 80 pesos to the rand is and its like R25.77 which is tinier than peanuts. I love your videos and positivity towards Native Camp and I love everything about them but financially is it worth my while. Please share some positive light on this, Karen

I already had a verification Teach. But the problem now is I can't use my external cam on camera check.
It could have been a problem with your browser, had the same issue. I uninstalled my camera software and cleared cache and refreshed the browser. It worked fine afterwards :) Try to troubleshoot on your end, I'm sure you can fix that
actually, I didn't search or review about native camp on the internet. I just passed my resume in the office with orientation. And started after a week while waiting for my activation of account. sikat pala siya hihihi.

I am using the Jabra evolve 20... honestly, there is no headset that can completely eliminate the noise. Have you tried a noise-cancelling app? like Krisp? You can also buy the high-end noise cancelling headset around php5000-8000

I uninstalled it before my system check. You can try to uninstall Google chrome and setup your camera there to make sure it doesn't detect Manycam
