Majoras mask is an emotionally heavy game that really plays on the threads of time, a theme more painful as you get older and realize just what exactly it was conveying.

It's okay though. Because he's not really a kid. 😆😆😆
it is very scary to think about the fact that time is limited. and at first, when you are very young, you never think about it. but over time, you realize every second matters. and eventually, your time will be up. death is a mystery. maybe there is heaven where you meet your family members who have passed. maybe you will be reborn as someone or something. nothing you do will matter. because once you die, you will forget everything. your family, friends, and memories, all gone. or maybe you are stuck in a dark void, where there is nothing left. no matter what, I am not sure what I would prefer.

@@peanutbutter6720 No it doesn't. AoC and BotW can both still happen, it's just in different timeline's thanks to Terrako traveling back in time to prevent the calamity. This isn't like the OG Hyrule Warriors, this can very much be canon. We just have to wait to see what Nintendo does with BotW2 and future games. To say it, "shouldn’t be considered as such" is kind of pushing it. It is very much debatable.

They probably never made these games with a timeline in mind... just a re-imagining of the story each time. Then people started asking for a timeline and they threw this one together.
Yes. People were asking for a timeline after TP. So we had SS, it explains that every Zelda game is a reboot of itself. Nothing less or more.
idk i feel like the first zelda game just doesnt make sense if it wasnt a thought out plan for it. just imagine if there wasnt a game after it. 😭😭 like theres no substance
Ocarina of Time was made with the split timeline in mind and was always going to be a prequel to A Link to the Past. The Fallen Hero timeline was created because there was no way for A Link to the Past or any sequel to take place in any other timeline.

What is the creepy pasta and why is there a face on the moon. Sorry, I started learning about Zelda last year
XLDinoSaver30 /\ so Majoras Mask is a real game that is available to play, and you do, in fact, save the world from a sad homeless kid, but there is a very popular creepy pasta called Ben Drowned that is about Majoras Mask but is, in fact, fake. (I do not know much about this creepypasta but I’d assume Ben drowned) and a face is on the moon because it was summoned by Skull Kid, (who should be referred to as a skull kid as there are many skull kids, but he’s the only one who ever possessed Majoras Mask so he’s just Skull Kid) and so the magic from the mask / Majora itself makes the moon have a face.
