    To disable and enable clip gain you just need to disable reading of clip automation by clicking on the "R" button, right below the mute button on the channel. You can also use the "W" button to do on the fly automation by adjusting the gain knob while the track is playing and it will record your changes on the timeline

      I will try, as I thought that only ralated to the Fader automation. Thanks.

      I tested and confirm, Automation R/W is for track, plugins etc and NOT the clip gain. Thanks

    It would be good also for the track automation. Visual control of wave amplitude could save from using compression sometimes.)

    You can disable Automation Read to test before/after Automation by pressing the R key on the Track (below the Clip Automation Selector)

    Thanks for the tutorial. Question on the fade-in technique you use. While you are manually selecting the nodes and fading in/out, wouldn't selecting the automatic crossfades button in the upper right corner help speed up the process?

    • @RecordingStudio9
      @RecordingStudio9  Год назад

      Crossfade is different to Clip Gain Automation. Though they may visually look to do the same job, they're not.
