Windy provides great analysis and nuances of how a roster is formed and makes sure not to offend anyone listening (LOL); truly, many will never understand or care to understand how a roster is structured for today's Olympics.

Lawrence Frank said what needed to be said to keep the peace on his team. With such a high level of competition, USAB needs every player to provide peak performance. In my opinion, the only player worthy of injury consideration is KD, who happens to be the all-time leading scorer in US Olympic team history.

@@sharitarits9187 Kawhi's knees are shot. His Clippers coach is one of the USAB coaches and, if Ty Lue couldn't lobby for his guy, nobody can. In KD's case, he finished the season healthy and playing pretty good basketball. My guess is he's closer to playing at a "world elite" level than Kawhi.

Even before the decision, REAL analysts were corroborating what Windy says--that a minor weakness of the roster was defensive foot speed on the perimeter. Kawhi is my favorite star. It’s not on Steve Kerr, Grant hill, or the clippers. It’s on Kawhi if he was ready he would have been a top 3 player in there he wasn’t. His health plays a major role in who he is as a player now. Can’t show up to that team half stepping.
