Thank you so much for playing my mod, I hope you enjoyed it. Also for 25:20, the blocks are supposed to go away once Captain Toad reaches the end, but I forgot that big shells could break those blocks too, whoops.
Thanks for making such an enjoyable mod! I kinda figured that was the case for the captain toad section, it's amazing how easy it is to miss simple stuff like that no matter how much you playtest. Also did I just accidentally bait you into becoming a channel member? Thanks either way lol.
This is what break time levels should be, a fun little showcase of a mechanic too janky or short for a full level and with a bit of actual challenge in some. I was a bit disappointed with most of the base game's break times because they were too short and easy (i dont think you could even get hit in most of them) but these are great. (Except the shell jump one thats a bit cheap)
I feel like the boo level's concept could work as a full level in a haunted house, if making furniture binded to some kind of custom boo that follows a set path like a boo buddy ring, they could even become more opaque as the player gets closer, if that's possible.
I did a few livestreams years ago, and although I mostly enjoyed those, I prefer the flexibility of being able to edit what I record after the fact. Maybe once I get more used to Wonder modding I'll try livestreaming the creation of a level or something like that.
Instead of using background layers like in Size Matters, you can also use the Bowser Jr 1 size change Wonder effect that changes the size of the camera and the entire level.
pretty sure the final bowser junior fight was a reference to the 2nd level, or maybe just a funny coincidence that the main game's fight has the same mechanic
that level with one shell jump HAS to be an Alpharad reference, cause when an event had him make levels in a SMM2 Super World for a competition, the first level was "one singular shell jump"
Hey I love the videos and seeing you showcase stuff from the community! I have one request which is just to be a little bit more positive. There's some great positive feedback in here, but it sometimes feels like you're not enjoying yourself.
Dang, it honestly sucks to hear that. There were a number of comments on my Forest Jam playthrough from people who thought I hated the mod, or who disliked the fact that I criticized the mod as much as I praised it, so I specifically tried to be more positive in this video. I don't think I can do much better than this without either simply lying about my thoughts, or cutting out half of my observations. Discussing how certain setups in a mod work is the most interesting thing I can bring to a playthrough I think, and pointing out shortcomings in those setups is one of the main ways of illustrating what I'm talking about. I did really enjoy this mod, and I think I said enough nice things about many of its levels and contraptions to where that was obvious from the video, so I don't really know what to do about this problem.
@@Rimea I did notice a big improvement from the forest jam playthrough! I was wrestling with whether or not to put this comment on that video: but I think you're definitely going in the right direction. I would definitely not edit out any thoughts!
You can make a complete mod using levels from this mods, your custom levels and other custom level users? This mod look nice. (Sorry my english is bad)
> "Bro Just Do 1 Shell Jump It's Easy"
> immediately begins trying to find every conceivable way to Not shell jump

True!

Thank you so much-a for to playing my game!
The concept of making small levels around a very certain mechanic should be used in more mods
12:19 the comedy in these live recordings for the mod showcases have been amazing 😂

just do a shell jump, bro
at 9:22 the top shows you what blocks are at the bottom
that... explains so much, good catch!
I was wondering what those blocks were for
This part was painful to watch
i really like the creative uses for objects and stuff in this mod, it's so cool!
Absolutely fantastic work from both of you!

Awesome video!!! please keep doing these Mario wonder mod full playthroughs!!!

Yay new vid, thx Rhimea, do u think u will ever stream?

I don't think that would work outside of the boss arena, it certainly wouldn't properly resize other objects like pipes or the level's terrain.
If only it was that easy
14:21 Reminds me of that time I messed up one of my levels by placing a bunch of wonder flowers, and touching them just ended up killing you also.
2:49 he said it himself ladies, size matters!
I prefer the title "Oops! All Gimmicks That Are Super Cool and Creative!"
Винни-Пух
Imagine, if you had to do another shell jump for Royal Seed. Fits very well for final level.
The boo level is really cool!!
15:45 it's a reference of the game Mario versus donkey kong march of the minis.
This mod is really good, but needs more polish.

Hear me out.
Rimea should make a level thats just a series of minigames.
Its just many breaktimes put into one sequencial level
15:17 R.IP. Talking Flower 😢
that level with one shell jump HAS to be an Alpharad reference, cause when an event had him make levels in a SMM2 Super World for a competition, the first level was "one singular shell jump"
The gameplay by Rimea was also a reference to how the streamers did!
Hi lois
March of the Toad remind me of Mario vs DK games
‘bro just do 1 shell jump it’s easy’ NO ITS NOT! NOT EVEN WHEN IVE GOT THE POSITIONING DOWN
Which enemy takes priority in an interaction between a Maw-Maw and a Gnawsher?
I've been meaning to make a video where I test what a maw-maw will eat, so stay tuned for that I guess
If on off switches affect the height of mushroom platforms, can they also affect the water/lava level?
on off switches can be made to toggle just about anything, so sure
@Rimea That seems like a fun level idea
16:28 Ever heard of Lemmings?
Yes, I'm vaguely aware of the game, I think I mentioned Mario vs. Donkey Kong instead since odds are more viewers will have heard of that.
@@Rimea also "March of the Toads" might be a reference to "March of the Minis" lol.

with regards to "Boo"- does wonder's engine actually just have smbx-esque layer stuff built in?
No both the boo and the pipe are on the same layer as almost everything else. Basically imagine I just glued a pipe to the top of a boo.
The levelse’s difficulty stars actually changed
“Super Break Time *Wonder*”
16:01 this reminds me of a level from Bob the snail

Just add a "Bind" link from whichever object you want to the boo.
