    Fun fact - Pawns can only take diagonally, because they were meant to represent infantrywith spears and shields. When opposing pawns are facing each other in the same coulmn, they are fighting, but Spear&shield infantry mirror fights usually last for hours non stop with minimal casualities. But when such infantry brick attacks from the flank (diagonally)? They just quickly overrun the enemy formation.

    Why is a brilliant movement?

    • @Vin_1
      @Vin_1 3 года назад

      Its because it makes it winning. If you close it the king goes down and captures the pawn and promotes before the opponent if you take roughly around the same thing its winning
