Just recently started using folding ladders. It took me a couple times too figure out what you just told everybody. Good info for people not used too using this type of ladder!!!!
I got that same latter and I love using it. I got 2 version's of it. The exact one as in this video has rusted on the latches got it from a yard sale its such a pain in the ass to adjust it. Eveything you've demonstrated in this video is something in see everyday at work. Thanks good advice
I know you may be amazed but I found this video to be one of your best. Reason: it was informative and calmly and professionally presented. Thanks for the demo.
I swear i handle folding ladders like a ninja with nun chucks. Some people it comes naturally how to handle them and some people go home with bruised and purple fingers😂
my one dumbass employee with the hair that looks like a troll doll just dropped one down on his foot n pretty much broke his 3 middle toes. 2 days after I posted this video, he's the same stubborn employee that will never learn either lol he was holding the outside ONLY when he tried to lower it (extended against the house) and the whole inside part (the heavy important part) fuckkkeeddd him up lmao idiot
Ahahaha whaaaaaattttttt are you even talking about? I'm here to help people. I don't click bait, I give tips and share years of my hardwork so that construction people young and old can see it done a different way
I shattered my big toe letting it down that way. To each his own, but I stand it up and lean it back as I extend it. Then I flip it over and do the same. Then to put it down I lean it back and do it same as I extended. Then close it up once it’s all the way down on both sides.
Simply not the correct ladder to use, wrong feet, help your back and your employees, get a 500lb ladder hoist, initially a touch longer to set up but you make up for it doing large jobs 110 squares
I'm still in touch with my old boss and he's recently became a fan of it. I usually just use ladder jacks and a 20 ft pick/ walking plank to go up with. I would definitely consider pump Jack's before building scaffolding for my line of work which is typically roofing, siding, soffit, fascia, gutters
Worlds Fastest Shingler pump jacks and stages are the way to go. A bit pricey but they pay for themselves in no time. I recently got out of construction, but I had 8 poles and 6 stages of various lengths from 10’ to 32’. I never met a wall I couldn’t set up with poles and stages lol
@@NWIVeteranConstruction 4-6-8-10-12and so on step ladders then extension i actually threw one of those ladders away i was on a job site since 10 years old now 40 with my own company since 16 years old so im not some smuck talking shit but to each his own personally i hate them.lol

I'm still learning! So used to teaching in a "during work" environment its tough to get the message across clear with so much going on.
Good knowledge out.
I've seen way to many techs, adjusters, and inspectors wreck themselves with these ladders.
Bet they wish they seen this video first LOL
when i was 16 i dropped an extension ladder on my head, boy that hurt
I BET lol
Excellent demo. Thanks.
No problem thanks for the support
Love the guy peaking around the corner too.

Am 14 and I knew that
I don’t trust them ladders at all and refuse to use them

Work smart don't break your back
Any tips on getting a small roofing business started
Damn... I wish my mom would've seen this months ago. Her poor fingers D:
Lmao I'm sorry I didn't think of this sooner. My condolences to your dear mother
Do you recommend or use any scaffolding ever on jobs?

@@ChrisMac87 Haha that's awesome. I'm only in year 3 out on my own so I'm workin my way up
Those ladders don't belong on a job site home owner ok but that's it
I disagree. These ladders are very very handy and can be used in more ways than most realize
