City guy here. I am taking over Dad's house. Dad did keep his ladders on the ground. While looking for solutions to hang the nicely, I thought I'd check to see if there was advice on spring them out side. Since I'm in the Midwest I feel fortunate I found your video. I was literally a breakfast away from tackling this project on my to-do list.

Glad to make your breakfast more relaxing knowing there is a easy solution for outside storage. Took me years before I figured it.

Exactly the idea I needed for a fast fix, I had some of those shelve brackets just laying around. Thank you

Glad I could help. Remember to have it not level so the water runs off. I learned the hard way.

Great tip! I have those very brackets and planned to hang my ladder but thought...heck, I'll check RUclips for tips first. I'm glad I did, and glad I found you video. I subscribed.

Glad you picked up a new idea. Get them up before winter, not like some old guy!

Excellent tip. I was planning on moving my ladders from inside the garage to outside hangers as you mentioned to save valuable interior space. Since I too am a bit of a perfectionist, my natural instinct is to make everything level! Glad I watched this first!

Anything solid and at an easy to reach height. Remember your shoulder will get lower and soar over the years so not too high.

Hi Alec, I really enjoyed your ladder video! Can you tell me the name of the intro song you used for it? It was great as well!

I had no idea as that is Kevin's expertise. I called and he says the into is called "Grace Behind The Curtains" from the RUclips free audio library. Thanks for watching.

Turn those 2 x 4s on edge and put a couple of screws through the bracket into them ....Job done.

Long heavy ladders stored this way can get bowed in time rendering them useless. Unless you use more support.

I stored my 32' ladder with two brackets this way for the last 20 year's and no bow yet.
