    Bookmarks!!! Dog ears are the worst, it's practically heresy! :-D (I am a historian who worked in a library for several years, I'm allowed to think and talk like this. ^_^)
    I've started reading the Priory, tool, it's amazing and so captivating. The huge hardcover book is a little hard to handle, though, doesn't lend itself well to reading in bed. But alas, sacrifices have to be made, LOL!

    Hi Sara! Congratulations on finishing your second draft! So exciting!
    Excited to hear what your next project might be. I keep having to miss your live streams, but hopefully one of these days I'll be able to pop in and sprint. Most of my writing has been getting done in the evening with a friend through video call, though, so, I might be doing other productive sprints instead. XD

    • @SaraLubratt
      @SaraLubratt  4 года назад

      Thank you! Writing with your friend on a video chat sounds so fun! I keep switching around times to do livestreams so hopefully one will work for you. Can I ask what timezone you are in so I can keep that in mind? Do evenings work better for you?

    • @gailc.m.victor
      @gailc.m.victor 4 года назад

      @@SaraLubratt It really is! And it's been more productive than me writing trying to write by myself. Even if this means we stay up until 3am writing... XD
      I'm in EDT. No need to change around just because of me though. It's mostly just knowing a few days in advance so I can plan around attending a live stream. And weekdays work better. Each day is different, so it's mostly just a manner of time scheduling the various things I want to get done in a day.

      @@gailc.m.victor Cool! I just wanted to ask because I'm trying to make my livestream times work for as many people as possible, but I've been switching around the times so far and I think I will continue experimenting for a little while!

      @@SaraLubratt Gotcha! No yeah, that makes sense. I've just fallen into a sort of schedule with being at home all the time, so it's hard to say what "schedule" would be best. Especially since I don't know what my schedule will be like when I go back to working, or even when. So, I suppose, afternoon/evenings, in general? And just knowing something is coming so I can block that time out. I also really enjoy watching the replays at my own pace, so there's that too.

    Hey Sara. I was just watching your video post here, and would like to ask you what software you use when writing your book? And I'm curious if you have been checked for sleep apnea since you were talking about issues with your sleep patterns? And "Slid" is a real word but depends on a sentence to use the word in, just like other words which some people forget to use that should have been. Plus, your family has a nice house from this video.

    That's so exciting! Congrats on finishing draft two! Im so a bookmark person, I like to keep my books in as pristine condition as possible, no even cracking on the spine. Also random question, how do you outline your timeline? I need to do that for my story and I was using the free trial of Aeon Timeline but didn't end up getting it so now I don't know where to start haha

    • @SaraLubratt
      @SaraLubratt  4 года назад +1

      Thank you! I did my timeline roughly using maps and JK Rowling's outlining method. I talk about it in this video: ruclips.net/video/9cgyzMWY_9M/видео.html but I used her format to figure out what happened where and over how long a timespan!

    I'm currently in chapter 13 of writing and have come up with more to add. But first I wanted to finish it out and then go back and add more and fixing everything. But i'm not sure what to do. Cause I feel like if I go back I won't know what to do but if I finish it then add everything and fix the timeline and edit I feel more knowing of the book. And I know its normal to write in different orders for some authors but I want your opinion. Also how do you find time for reading? I try to cut my time for both but then the book is so amazing and I can't put it down and I leave my book.

    • @SaraLubratt
      @SaraLubratt  4 года назад +1

      After finishing two rough drafts, I think that getting your ideas down is the most important. They won't be perfect and you'll have more to add, but that's the beauty of the first draft! And about reading, I have only been getting back into reading recently after a long dry spell. I read when I want to read and write when I don't feel like reading lol. I also read in the evenings or when I'm outside mostly and that's a good way to separate it.
