Allie is currently busy with songwriting and recording sessions in London. For that she is collaborating with other musicians one week per month. Her new album with merely original songs can be expected in the beginning of next year, I guess. Some songs were already released in parts or even complete on her RUclips channel. Great songs!
Would rather hear Zoe sing this . She knows the words and gives a performance. Allie is maybe unsure of her words as she doesn’t look up. She also speeds everything up.
I get confused as to why Allie is so popular. Is it because she had a powerful voice at a young age and people have just stuck with her, but they don't really listen any more? She has a half decent voice, no doubt, but she lacks refinement, lacks prescence, shouts a lot goes too fast and often wanders into this squeaky tone thing that sounds like a child. I follow her material, but more and more I am actually finding her covers quite uncomfortable to listen to. Something isn't right somewhere. Unless she is quite happy busking and making money from that and youtube for the time being, I predict she will fade into obscurity. That would be a shame as she defo has a talent and a love for music and a decent enough voice. She would excell as a Country n Western performer I think.
She's charismatic and by all accounts a very nice young lady. I can't blame them for striking while the iron is hot and taking advantage of the millions of subscribers she's amassed by posting new videos almost daily. But she does seem to have been stagnating for a while.
Agree totally. I suspect part of the attraction may have been an appearance thing. There is also a significant lack of maturity in the way she conducts herself both when performing and around other performers. Her voice is ok but nothing special. There are other buskers on the street with more talent like Jacob Koopman who work really hard with little You Tube recognition.
Allie is a far more decent person than me & I don’t enjoy being critical of artistic talent. But, the guy above speaks some truth. If Allie has higher expectations then she take constructive criticism on board which I’m sure she will. Zoe grows by the day. Just saying.
Frank, reckon if young Allie wants to go further in the music business, she will take your advice. Seems sound to me. She has talent, but needs stretching & so much more. But, if she’s happy in what she does, who cares? She gives pleasure to so many.
