I live just north of Evansville in Indiana and thank goodness there is no special license here! And the midwest is awesome to me. I just took a trip to Cancun, Mexico and was homesick for the good old midwest. I'm not much on traveling, but I love to build things, so the bus build is a hobby of passion in and of itself. No need to travel
Every day doesn't have to be a party. Forests are a great day spent. Where is Yellow Stone? Visit there if you can. And look up where your favorite movies were filmed. FYI, if you make your way to Oregon, Astoria is where Goonies, Kindergarten Cop, and Short Circuit was filmed. Not to Mention Twilight Forks and on Whidbey island in Washington Practical Magic was filmed there. Just a suggestion. You are doing fabulous. I'm soooo excited for you!!! Make a list of everything interesting in Each state you would like to visit. I love lists. I feel like I'm accomplishing something even if it's small the fact of checking it off or crossing it off makes you feel like you have accomplished something. It can be sometimes hard living on your own time instead of other people's but it's Your Time. Enjoy it. You will look back in 20 years and be Soo satisfied that you got out there and experienced life differently. I lived on an island in Alaska and that was some Good times, even the boring days. Experience makes you a well rounded individual. Keep Kicking Ass!!! ✌️💙
I love lists, too! I actually car camped in Yellowstone last year; it was an experience of a lifetime. If you can ever get out that way, I'd highly recommend it. So cool to hear about your experience in Alaska. Thanks for all the ideas, and thanks for always leaving such kind comments!
Hey, I haven't don it yet, BUT, I will be building my own bus. One of the things I have figured out is that there are a few states that allow you to get a PO BOX, and get your drivers license and bus registration in that state as long as you stay there like 1 day a year. This state appears to be super relaxed on regulations, and then you'd be fine. I think this may be considerably easier than getting your CDL.
I am almost 100% you don’t need an special license to drive your bus as long as it’s titled as an RV. I am not aware of any state that requires a special license regardless of weight. Awesome vids and bus and content BTW
Thank you! Unfortunately, I've talked to the DMV and we will need a special license - but I know a lot of states have no special licensing for RV's! It's all pretty confusing lol
Hey Andi N👋. Love what you've done with the bus build 👍. I admire your window coverings too. What are they, and are they easy to install? Safe travels 💯.
Hi! Thanks so much! The window coverings are actually just a roll of reflectix that I cut up. I plan to make curtains eventually, but haven't quite gotten around to it yet
I hope you are able to obtain a license to drive the bus soon! I am anxious to see how the bus handles on the road and where you will take it first! In the meantime, it looks like you are appreciating your glass being half full n stuff! I do so enjoy your videos!
Be sure to make it to southern Missouri on your travels. It’s exceptionally beautiful there. Try to avoid the tourist traps as the traffic can be hell in those areas. The parts of Arkansas butting up to Missouri in that area are amazing as well. I don’t live near those areas, but have been there a few times throughout my life. Colorado is amazing as well but a bit expensive. I hope Kenny is traveling with you.
absolutely! I went to the current river in MO a few years ago, and it was so pretty. I definitely want to go back. Kenny is still traveling with me - this was an impulsive trip on my part!
Hello Andi. What can I say? These videos just keep getting better and better. . I'm glad to see you're doing so well. Thanks so much for sharing a look at your nomadic life living, hiking and camping in the Great Outdoors - you lovely and multi-talented offgrid woman The highlights in your hair remind me of the color of the sunrise and the sunset. . I simply can't wait to see the chronicle of your further adventures. The important thing to remember is to stay safe while you're out there. 😍😍😎
We in Alabama just have are drivers license to drive a rv or a school bus as a rv it is not a regular school bus it is a rv now you do not have to have that kind of drivers license to just to drive a rv all they want is just more money from you if you ask me that is crazy bless your heart

@@AndiNVlogs agreed. Just wish I was good at filming it all
That is an amazing view. That path is super cool the way it is cut in 5:22 Your visit and video puts this place on my short list. Thank You.
Thanks so much. I'm glad Shawnee National Forest made your list. I've seen only a bit of it, but I will absolutely be back. :)

It's important to try to find the beauty of where you are! Good video!
For sure! There's always something to appreciate - it can just be hard to remember that sometimes. and thank you :)
Just from what I saw, It looks beautiful.A little like Midwest Montana.
It was so nice! Maybe not quite Montana, but it was well worth the drive. I'll definitely be going back!

Thank you so much! As far as I'm concerned, my glass is at least half full. Only a few more hurdles to jump.
Hello Andi, are you open to a collaboration?
