This song gave me goosebumps then Jimmy Page comes out now the wind is blowing through my tingling body..fucking outstanding song…”thank you” for sharing this! Hell yeah!!!!
This is pretty cool. Im the biggest Zep fan, I think Fred is a talent. Never could have imagined this though. Just to be clear these guys coudnt hold Jimmys jock but who can in the music world
Wow, just looked this up cuz of a post fred shared of jimmy on insta... Totally forgot about this performance, but i remember downloading it and playing it over and over back then... So Glad im seeing this again now! ❤️
My sister is my best friend for life. This will be played at our funerals or the afterparty. Lived thru many challenges together. She put this to our childhood pictures as a wedding gift. ❤
Worcester Mass. ‘83 with the Firm. Only Hendrix was close. What people don’t understand your watching da Vinci, D.H Lawrence, Mozart on a guitar. Thanks jimmy
I love this cover I think they did a great job people just hate cuz its Fred Durst And Wes Scantlin who I think are awesome also if its good enough for a legend like Jimmy Page then its good enough for me.
you can say anything about fred durst but wes scantlin and jimmy page are untouchable just listen to the solo in that song listen to wes's singing on songs like spin you around good singer good guitar player dont bash on either of them there both good at guitar wes amazing vocalist im out
Don't know about the camera and production here, but I LOVE the shadows around Fred's hat/hoodie in this video. It fits the ambiance of the performance well.

@RockBlitz08 I'm glad you like many different styles of music-Maybe you really do understand why Jimmy would play for Fred & why Fred would ask Jimmy to do so? Fred for one was singing ThankYou for his fans and at the same time acknowledging Zeppelin & Page. It's also mutual music thing between musicians! I don't "like" it all either but some people deserve a break and not to get bashed for something so kind as what Fred did. Have a good one & take care. "V"
Fred Durst should learn to sing an Page did fuck up the solo. Still, somehow I love this version. I really can't explain why. Thx for uploading, I've been looking for this for a long time.
Jimmy isn't playing "like crap" people.. Count! Lol.. Suprised no musicians noticed this..he's just playing "off the beat" a little bit.. I thought this was pretty dope.. These troll comments are pissin me off! I personally loved this.
+Zach Derbas He's also playing a 12 string while soloing which is much harder than a normal 6 srring and obviously sounds different as well. Jimmy was the ONLY thing good about this performence.
Zach Derbas Jimmy tired to save his solo but it sound weird because Wes is playing some parts wrong and off time to begin with. Count with a metronome and you find Wes is also all over the place. All in all it was a success because they got through the song like professionals.
herbie747 Successful as far as the 3 musicians getting paid for playing the whole song to the crowd. Pretty sure this is the worst "Thank You" cover I've ever heard. However all three left with money that night. Also considering who Jimmy Page had to play with that night I'd say it was a success. For the crowd and now RUclips viewers I think the video speaks for its self.

Fred Durst is very underrated and doesn't get the credit for how good is and also has an amazing voice

Jimmy Page is my hero. I just don't understand his decisions sometimes.
why? wich decisiond?
Jesús Sosa the decision to go on stage with Fred durst and the guy from puddle of mudd.
His decision to move on with his life, and constantly try new things, while you remain in 1976?
Its an attitude that makes him famous, and you not
