      It's usually the fucking metal elitist who are haters. I like how they think their opinion is high & mighty considering that 60% of those kind have never ever played a guitar in front of thousands of fans.
      They would probably never make it big as a band or sell millions of records even if they miraculously were given 2 lifetimes.

    it was the best MTV Music Awards that i remember. it was perfect! next years after that all was boring. then you've experienced many surprises on a high level of artisanship. when i'm remembering this specific gig, i want to come back to those times. Fred - you know!

    @RockBlitz08 I'm glad you like many different styles of music-Maybe you really do understand why Jimmy would play for Fred & why Fred would ask Jimmy to do so? Fred for one was singing ThankYou for his fans and at the same time acknowledging Zeppelin & Page. It's also mutual music thing between musicians! I don't "like" it all either but some people deserve a break and not to get bashed for something so kind as what Fred did. Have a good one & take care. "V"

      +Zach Derbas He's also playing a 12 string while soloing which is much harder than a normal 6 srring and obviously sounds different as well. Jimmy was the ONLY thing good about this performence.

    • @herbie747

    • @davidhatton4557
      @davidhatton4557 8 лет назад

      Zach Derbas Jimmy tired to save his solo but it sound weird because Wes is playing some parts wrong and off time to begin with. Count with a metronome and you find Wes is also all over the place. All in all it was a success because they got through the song like professionals.

    • @herbie747
      @herbie747 8 лет назад

      david hatton you think that was a success? It was a musical abortion.

    • @davidhatton4557
      @davidhatton4557 8 лет назад

      herbie747 Successful as far as the 3 musicians getting paid for playing the whole song to the crowd. Pretty sure this is the worst "Thank You" cover I've ever heard. However all three left with money that night. Also considering who Jimmy Page had to play with that night I'd say it was a success. For the crowd and now RUclips viewers I think the video speaks for its self.
